AnonD-731363, 14 Jan 2019No its niot all prices are equal to huawei or xiaomi devices. Definitely yes, when i compare it with Xiaomi, vivo, oppo they look overpriced... When i compare it with Sony, lg, Samsung, Apple it doesn't look like overpriced.

I'm disappointed by HMD because their products are really bad:
1/ There is no software optimisation in all their portfolio and I also include KaiOs featurephones...
2/ They're just betting on two elements: Marketing and Assembly. When you buy a Nokia by HMD they're just providing you an impression of quality but it's just fake: Except spend their money with fake reviews, fake bloggers and negotiate for end of life components.... Seriously, do you imagine they launch a device in March and already have it replaced in August???? Seriously, do not spend one buck in this company till they will not clearly change their way to work and stop provide us with unfinished devices.

I used to be Nokia fan from Nokia 3210 (1999) to Nokia communicator 9500 (2005) and I am still fan of Nokia's keypad phones till now. I do not think that I would be fan of Nokia's Android phones and I think that all of you know why. Anyway, Good luck Nokia! Kiss from Indonesian.

AnonD-731363, 14 Jan 2019Man jack is ancient technology from 1868 era its hasbeen lo... moreHumanity mandatorily needs options on everything including whether to use the 3.5mm jack hole with let's say, ATH-M50X or use some Aftershokz Bone Conduction wireless headphones. One time for example, I forgot to charge my wireless and I don't want to resort to hearing environmental noise instead so I use the headphones with a jack. I don't resort to using dongles either (IIRC I am convinced with PCWorld's video about dongles and it's unnecessary).
BTW, I do have that headphone which is miles better than Beats ProStudio and cheaper, and I wanted to buy some alternative headphones instead of conventional in/on/over ear if ever my ATH dies.
I am convinced like an anti-vaxxer that wireless headphones gives off radiation that could permanently damage the brain in the long run.

I hope they packed the return of PureView lineup with a total complete package of lens and sensor there : RGB-Wide (±2x mm), Monochrome, Telephoto, Ultra-Wide (±1x mm), and/or other lens/sensor configuration, as it leaked-video said that all the 5 lenses can work simultaneously (looking at you, A9 2018...).

They better be darn awesome, otherwise, it'll be just an extra set of cameras for no reason.
And also what's up with last gen SOC at 800$ price?
I repeat, those cameras better be something. At this point, people are over the nostalgia phase so the name "Nokia" is far from enough.

Good news there will perhaps be a SD855 version in the works. personally I don't really care becuase I am not a heavy user nor a spec freak, but for those who always want the latest SoC, it's good there will be one. If the SD845 will be cheaper, I would go for that one nevertheless.

It's not a half bad strategy, considering that the star of the show will be the cameras on the back. But they better beat the Mate 20 Pro, Pixel 3, and XS Max to justify that many lenses
