And despite iphones being the msot expensive on the market, despite the royalties Apple doesn't pay and all the lawsuits Apple is getting it refuses to pay a decent salary for these workers.
Apple really is a mercenary corporation and it's trying to do it's own ecosystem that even some people find that it's the best there is...
In the meanwhile, an enteprise way bigger than Apple which is Google launches an open source mobile OS called Android for everybody to use.
Expect Apple cutting down it's profits again for 2019 or like always, making it's iphones more expensive.
Well, i don't mind, apple can price them at 2K, people will still buy it xD

There were many suicide attempts because of unhuman conditions and very low payments. Poor workers just don`t have a choice, they need a job to be able to buy some food.
I feel sorry for poor workers too for sure, but we should take a look from another perspective too. It`s a waste of resources and unnecessary pollution to manufacture a lot of phones if there is no demand.
Search the net and see how many new unused cars are stored in graveyards because they were produced but there was no real demand for them. Unfortunately companies will not sell the new models discounted because that way everybody would stop buying the cars at launch and wait for the discounts. F@cking money hungry attitude, where ppl only look how to benefit in the short term and don`t care about long term outcomes got us where we are today.

only very shallow people must buy shiny new things to prove their worth. I'm European living in China. I use cheap phone for 250USD, and I always wonder why Chinese people who earn 10% of what i earn spend their whole month or 2 months salary to buy new iPhone.

WTF.. silly action from Foxconn to backup & support on going court cased between Q Vs A.. Whole world know not only Iphone made in that factory but all chinese phone also made there. Some more those worker not permanent staff, just daily hired worker aka "first come first serve" staff without single employment benefit.
