Good thing about my S4 is I can just swap out battery when I need to but now they don't have removable batteries anymore.

The benchmarking ratings and rankings of iPhones is Solely for bragging rights. It destroys both the processor and the batteries. That's why phones are throttled, sometimes before the warranty is over and batteries need changing. Plus the phones get pretty hot too, often causing issues with usage. I have only used a few iPhones, and while so there are some great things about iPhones, I also believe the processor and battery are not one of them.

No big surprise, Apple's chips are 1-2 generations ahead of anything Qualcomm, Samsung or HiSilicon Kirin or Mediatek releases.
When your hardware and software are all done in-house, it's easy to optimize everything.

Exynos never thermal throttle but all SD 8 series throttle. I'll pick exynos everytime over SD due to this.
