Imx600 of 20 Pro series is 1/1.7".
Imx607 is 1/1.8"
But better output, better AF, lower power usage and brighter because of wrgb nature ...
The imx666 that may be inside next Xperia at first was told to be 1/1.8" , newer info says it is 1/1.5". With ability to use 4:3, 1:1, 3:2, 16:9, 18:9 and 21:9 ....

2019 has just started and the market is already filled with new phones: Samsung S10, Huawei P30, Mi mix 3 5G edition (as early as March), Vivo NEX 2 (2019), (Vivo's follow-through on Vivo Apex 2019 will come later, this is different from Vivo NEX 2019), new Oppo flagship with 10x optical zoom, (hopefully Oppo Find XI will come later) … Let the war start!

Huawei reminds me of Facebook and Apple: they put others' all great ideas in their products. Even if not original, it seems like this strategy is working (this time it is about Oppo's periscope camera idea).

Huawei P30 is a Samsung S10 killer. The main camera will lift smartphone camera technology to a new level. The DxOMark will reach a new height. Samsung used to have several months for its S10 series before the new iphones. This leaves no such space for Samsung.

Mate 20 Pro camera with Headphone jack or 10x Zoom with a larger sensor but no headphone jack?
I'll get the one with the Jack. I will buy phones with Headphone jacks until my 3 year old ATH-M50x dies. If it did, I would be buying some wireless Bone Conduction headphones and P30 Pro or Mate 30 Pro.

Oled uses more power than LCD when it displays white image. Oled cant be used at higher brightness often.
Oled has colour shift .
All this is why companies are working on microLED... Oled is just a poor temporary thing like plasma ...

Sounds amazing nearly bought the p20 pro last year but went for an honor 10 instead but will defo be looking for a p30 pro contract this year.
Just a shame there making phones so big the honor 10 is a great phone for one handed use, but hey ho..
