It's Funny. I have an iPhone XS max, I bought the 512 gb model and gold to boot for luck. Being Chinese and loving my family and Chinese New Year. Knowing very well that I come from a very sentimental family. This commercial bothers me. It makes me wish I never spent the money on this phone. This schmaltzy excuse for an advertisement is too much. My family would fly across the planet to cook me a meal with herbs and spices from back home before making me carry a surprise bucket of sand. The gloves in the video; I believe that a loving caring family member would give me gloves, but not a tortuously heavy pail of sand.
Maybe that's a good Idea. I'm going to 100 day party in a couple of weeks and I will need to bring some Red Eggs, maybe I should pick up a sturdy bucket on the way.

My skepticism was true after all. I knew that Apple could never make it just with the iPhone XS. See this you Apple Fanboys ? They should just say " This was shot on iPhone XS. But, with extra lenses and the help of software editing on a PC/Laptop. " This is why I hate Apple

@gsmarena it is really sad to see a big company as apple desperate making stuff like this trying to catch buyers attention .... thye have to blame the phone design .. theit phone cameras ar good but no that good.....

This isn't the first time Apple, or any manufacturers, done this. I already knew when I watched it. But at the same time, the idea of using professional graded lens didn't surprise me either. it's quite common tbh. So I'm confused on why you would make a big fuss out of it.

Yeah. It kept bugging me that it has this bokeh effect throughout the video.
I have read somewhere that we will start to see "portrait mode" or bokeh for video this year.
I wonder hey they did the aerial shot, could be a simple drone.

Some people say they did expect it from Apple. I wouldn't. They have good reputation and this would be below their level. But as of now, no one can be really sure what is happening now a days, right?
