It is a Quar Bayer sensor with 48MP photo options and 13MP photos where neighbouring 4 pixels are used to create a 12MP photo with higher dynamic range, and better noise (thus better in low light).
Anything below the Snapdragon 8 series would require a separate series of ISPs to be able to produce 48MP photos. The problem is NOT with the Imaging Sensor but with the processing limitations on the Snapdragon 6 Series.

Due to the full-screen ads on every XiaoMi App (Music, Video, Themes, Security, etc.) I won't ever buy or suggest the device anymore. My last one is RedMi Note 4X, which I am still using as the battery on this one still lasts me for 2 days. If only weren't for those pesky ads, I would really love RedMi.

EIS capability rating out of 10.
Please. Focus more on video recording section. As Galaxy M30 is coming, it will also have EIS. And I'm gonna go with the phone with better EIS.
