Very interesting concept and execution, but the screen when folded is small and not even full screen. Should have been bigger even with long aspect ratio. And the battery should have been at least 5,000 mAh for that thickness and pricing.
Overall great start, this will drive others to utilize the technology and see more competition ground.

If all companies were looking for profit, no one will come up with something unique and revolutionary. Of course, there is always the risk of losing money in the process, but al least set the foundation upon others can build upon and improve the design and functionality. That's how progress works.

If a foldable phone needs two displays, its not what a foldable phone should be. Though is a breakthrough is the future, this phone is far from perfect. Xiaomi did it much better with their Concept phone! Period.

Hmm so why not put the selfie camera on the front... so you don’t have to unfold it.. not sure why they put cameras inside it.. and when you fold it it’s gonna be like a long brick in your pocket.. more of a home only device..

Better than my extreme low expectation, and it still looks very much a first gen product. 1 step forward (2 in 1 device mainly as a tablet), 2 steps back (phone part has the worst bezel ever, and device looks big/thick/clunky for a phone).

The result is better than expected.
However, it's nothing more than a toy or a elderly people phone.
Folded it's a modern sized phone, with a ancient sized screen.
Unfolded it's a questionable aspect ratio mini-tablet, with possible wobbly or easy to accidentally fold screen.
It's a good start, if this kicks off, we're sure as hell will be getting a standard line phone looking like this in say 2-4 years.

Gotta give credit where credit is due. It doesn't look half bad. Am I a multi-tasking guy or in dire need to play Android games/Netflix videos on a bigger screen? No. But this is CLEARLY aiming at a multi-media fanatic or business person that needs that one-screen multi-tasking so good on Samsung for doing well for that first iteration.

Very good implementation and worth the wait. Not a fan of any notch but it doesn't look that bad. Price is a little scary that's for sure.

Kudos to Samsung. It's expensive, but is innovative and sets the ball rolling. After doing the good work, they go and ruin with the ugliest and most pointless notch in the short history of notches.
