So that image can perfectly have donde with a Light camera and no the phone. And it doesn't even matter a lot as those where already edited to hide the real results of the Light camera or the phone. So are not original, and can't be trusted.

Erick, 24 Feb 2019That does not prove anything since they could have been don... moreI don't deny editing I mentioned it as well it's pretty common around the market and pretty dumb but some shots are specifically mentioned as being from a "HMD Global Nokia 9" as for them being from the Litght's camera yes there's possibility of the non detected ones and no you can not add that data even using the light's software otherwise they would not have provided the 16 camera with 16 lenses in L16 and five in Nokia 9 just a single one if they could do that with software, I have Lumens Beta Light's software but it does not allow editing depth or colour based on depth on images shot from my DSLR.
I don't deny there could be some misleading ones from HMD's samples but there are some legits as well, specially top five shot by GSMArena.

Disappointing phone to be the Nokia's flagship.
For example today LG has presented the **LG V50 ThinQ 5G** and is a real monster in everything where this Nokia has nothing to do.
https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9607&idPhone2=8867
As always Nokia, since it is from HMD arrives late and badly, with this flagsip of the year 2018, but not of the present day.
What a pity!

Erick, 24 Feb 2019That does not prove anything since they could have been don... moreThe point is that all this information is one the raw format version of this phone photos. The raw combined theninformation From all the five cameras and you have to use editing stuf to chose what parts of each sensor you Are gonna use in the ”final” picture...
So the picture is taken with this phone, but it does not look like these untill the editor chose what information of taken pictures Are actually used.
I am not sure how well automatic can chose From the raw data, but I am very sure that automatic system can not make pictures as good as manual selecting and blendind that information.

Anonymous, 24 Feb 2019And the amazing bit download them as previously stated then... moreThat does not prove anything since they could have been done with one of the Light cameras, not the phone. It is also noticeable that they have been edited and the editing program of Light could perfectly add extra information based on the analysis of the image and then use it with Google photos without needing the phone.
If the real photos from the phone when available don't match these ones and Exif, it will be more than evident that they come from another source and then edited to look even better. In any case are edited, so they have done it to hide the imperfections, etc, of the original ones. So as usual to fool people making them believe that are original.

Panino Manino, 24 Feb 2019It pains me to say this but I checked all the photos and 4 ... moreThat's probably from a editing software as all of them(Olympic Olympic shots) contain the Colour Pop effect on Google Photos editing section based on depth information within the image, which you can even adjust by going to setting in the Photos app that would not be available in a shot from DSLR.
By the way the camera company is "Olympus" there is no Olympic Olympic so that could be because of a editing software or just identification error I have experienced that before in edited images it's not uncommon.

The sharpness of the fruit images is terrible. Some fruits are sharp, some are not. This isn't a depth of field issue as the equivalent aperture is f/14 (for example Galaxy S10 has f/9).

SohailSays, 24 Feb 2019Ofcourse and I still don't know why GSMArena says "We shot"... moreAnd the amazing bit download them as previously stated then open them on Google Photos, you can actually adjust the focal depth which Google implemented on it's Photos app specifically for images taken on Nokia 9 it was mentioned on the launch event a guy from Google came to the stage specially to mention that it's pretty amazing and that also confirms they are not from a DSLR as that can not be adjusted on images taken by them, because they do not contain the required data within the image which images shot from the Nokia 9 do contain, trust me I double checked that, if not try it yourself and the app also confirms these to be from that exact device I insist try it it's actually pretty cool, probably one of the best feature of this device.

Guys, calm down until real independent shots will come to light. I don't trust Foxconn at all, as well as ex-nokia employee.

It pains me to say this but I checked all the photos and 4 of them have "wrong" exif, being identified as taken by an "Olympic Olympic" camera.
More, three of them have f/2 aperture, the only ones in all the samples that are taken with aperture f/14.
Not that they don't like they weren't taken by anything other than a phone...

Without OIS better carry a stabilizer arm for filming. And convert yourself in a statue while taking a photo with five sensors.

YUKI93, 24 Feb 2019I rather wait and see GSMArena's photo sample review. That ... moreYes. Who knows while concentrating on dynamic range it might have missed on details or sharpness or colour rendering. Just a guess. Not a photo freak. Samples look great for normal user eyes. Hope GsmArena posts full review asap.

SohailSays, 24 Feb 2019Ofcourse and I still don't know why GSMArena says "We shot"... moreWhat they mean is top five shots are taken by them in a review unit or the demo piece and settings from the launch event and it explicitly states and I quote "some official shots from HMD" about anything below. About them being from a DSLR, well I was curious as well and upon download the full sized samples by going into the desktop site from the browser then clicking the image and pressing the full-screen button, third from the top right and then long pressing to save image.
