1)The additional l... moreThey are not the best night photos. It's just a longer shutter and boosted e posture and iso automated mode that people went gaga over.
Just like everyone deemed the pixel the best before just because it had better dynamic range and boosted colors and sharpening.
They just had a social media ready auto night mode. Not the best night results or only night mode option now.

One word, they are not good at being biased "Sarcasm" they need to learn a lot of other biased sites, the first method in bias is the not look extreme, look at this score! i am a simple man i see these scores and this site i say no credibility absolutely.

Again SONY FAIL.. Leave SONY, there are much better phones with better camera.
Sony Engineers.. they trick custumers with " Camera good or Camera amazing or Camera awsome, LIARS !!! LIARS !!
I was on Xperia Ray, Xperia T, Xperia X, Xperia XZ Premium, I'v sold everything from sony, AWFULL camera and with XZ PREMIUM, worst camera with TRICKY Advertising !
THE OPPO RX, MEIZU PRO 5, LUMIA 1020, NOKIA 808, all of these beats Sony in every way on camera, there are more phones with very good camera, even those are unknow names,

with or without their reviews nothing will change! only stupid people will get influence on what they say even if it's positive.... you gotta try it out your self and not let the people judge on your behalf.. because it's you who will buy and use the phone , not them!

1)The additional lens for proper bokeh/telephoto for good zoom
2) improvement in software
Notice that Google has 2nd part covered well thanks to it's immense machine learning prowess. You can go to most of the reviews, they'll say same things about camera of all flagships, that they are similar, but Google generallyvknows how to take best night photos, which gives them edge
Look I'm not saying that dxo scores are absolute and be all for phone photography, but when some device is so much behind the competition, then dxo might not be the only problem they have....

Or the major jump in Pixel and Pixel 2( even to 3) in score eventhough review here in GSMArena state it just incremental different and more of processing speed uplift? So yeah.... And Xioami suddenly get top rank(not doubting but came on, the score released at exact timing the phone launch
