The Pro model completely overshadowed its sibling. Having the best still camera on the market drew a lot of attention to it.

The Xperia 1 flagship might be interesting, need to have a comprehensive review when it hits retail next month.

    Well, when you shell out money. Why go for the middle one? Just go for the best.

    But I hate it, more money normally gets you a large unwieldy phone. If only they make the star the smallest one.

      Huawei, nailed it as far as cameras are concerned, this time. Needs to reduce overprocessing a little. And other major factors that needs to get better are their UI and security concerns. Well, any other internet linked product is indeed a concern for privacy, but Huaweis have long been under suspicion of spying through their networking and other componenents it uses in government establishments. I think these two are the only ones stopping from Huawei to take over smartphone industry. Yeah, their displays too needs a rethink. But, for the time being, let it enjoy its camera glory.

We are all at risk no matter what phone we are using, it is a fact nowadays. Have you seen the US interviews on US officials? They kept saying that it is "rightful to ban huawei products because they are from china and because chinese ppl are spies, thats what they do" that pure racism there. even US allies are now pushing back against US allegations simply because the US pure talks and no proof. on US spying on the other hand, we got snowden. so there's that.

Sony has the tech that can create 3d scan people's face just by using front cam without additional sensor called '3d Creator', but fail to implement it as Face Unlock.

I didnt buy one coz im waiting for the mate series this year.
