Yes first quad camera is A9, but thats a mid ranger phone, which the overall quality turns to looks abysmal. P30 Pro is the first flagship to introduce it.

Kirin is weaker on paper, but on real life usage using any heaviest apps or games, u will not see any difference between latest Snapdragon, still a flagship worthy SOC. Exynos are the worst one.

The mobile market has reached its saturation point and it won't be long before another game-changing shift arrives. With the establishment of 5G networks, wireless power (over networks) and the creation of online services capable of delivering real-time processing, the mobile hardware landscape will experience a quantum shift. Google and Apple know this which is why thery're moving towards cloud based services. Google's Stadia gaming platform will eventually lead to tech capable of delivering real-time on-demand computing power at the individual level. At that point, it won't matter what device you have - all the processing power will be in the cloud. This will allow devices as thin as a sheet of paper (and ten times more powerful than today' phones) to become a real possibilty. It isn't science fiction, it's real and the advantage will be in the hands of the companies with the largest cloud-based infrastructure. As a result, manufacturers with the largest phone sales will be irrelevant in less than 5 years from now.

Apple phone ban in china have increased huawei sales.
I think apple will even loose their customers -30% on next quarter, all these by making hike in price and adding the bluddy big notch.

huaweior the highway, 01 May 2019Anyone noticed Huawei has been the one leading all the new ... moreAdding more cameras to a phone is not innovation. Adding AI NPU is not innovation, it's just adding extra hardware that is already available.

Smarphones are matured for a while now and there's little real innovation to be made year on year. All that's left to do now is to get better battery life and non-shattering screens and backs.

Now comes the era of services, while hardware takes a secondary place.

Anyone noticed Huawei has been the one leading all the new innovations since 2016 ?
                            1. First Dual Cam on Flagship in 2016 on Mate 9
                            2. First AI Chip NPU on phone, Kirin 970, in 2017. Also the first to use Night Mode for cam.
                            3. First triple-rear cam phone, Mate P20 Pro, in 2018
                            4. First quad-rear cam phone, Mate 20 Pro, in 2018
                            5. First to implement revers charging.

Apple's and Samsung's jobs are only to copy Huawei's new innovations after watching Richard launch speech. Anyone realised that ?

always belived if Huawei made good SoC and camera they could take on the giants of Samsung and Apple. They delivered so well! Over time they need to refine software now.

The second hand market is flourishing. Every store here has some phones on the shop window. They do the job without breaking the bank.
