We need it to come out now so in 2 years it will go through 2 iterations and other manufacturers can join in and make it cheaper. No new tech is perfect in the beginning and needs mass production and consumers using it to see how it can be Improved.

First foldable phone came back 30 years ago but not with dual screens.

good, the world is not ready yet for folded phones.. delay this another 2 years when its ready without all issues and maybe prices will go down to human prices...

New inventions are barely ever perfect, and someone invevitably has to be the one who "got it wrong on the first attempt" (I'm not counting FlexPai since it's more of a prototype that happens to be sold rather than trully 'finished' device).
Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Galaxy Fold/Mate X folding style (from large phone to a tablet) and I believe future in the way Moto Razr goes (from compact device to large phone), but I'm still glad Samsung tried to push it somewhere.

If only it wasn't as bad of a POS to only last 2 days. If it could have lasted a week and sent out to customers. Now that would have been EPIC. What a joke Samsung has become.
