19 May 2019
The phone launched on T-Mo US this Friday, is available for purchase in India and is coming to Europe next week. Any takers?

Right now in UAE Oneplus 7pro is slightly more than $700, with the same price I can get S10+ 128gb and 2 pepsi cans and a 5gum, also I could find a cheaper price if I looked in non official stores

Notsure, 19 May 2019No 3.5mm, no SD slot, OLED burn in, no thanks. Also, NO wireless charging, NO IP rating, screen TOO big with useless curves at the side. NO, thanks.

If the OnePlus 7 Pro had IP68, Headphone jack, microSD slot, (not to mention better overall durability).... there would be a lot more buyers.

As it stands, this is CURRENTLY priced somewhere just below the Samsung S10e (why not spend a little more then?), or it priced somewhere just above the Samsung S10+ (feels like a rip off) depending on where you live. I am not going to be talking about MSRP, but if these new OnePlus devices get noticeable price cuts in the market in the future, I will amend it (however, they usually don't get sales, and stick close to the MSRP).

Not to mention the elephant in the room, which is the LG G8 ThinQ. Heck, all that needs to happen to make the OnePlus 7 and the 7 Pro a massive failure is for LG to announce the LG G8 as an AndroidOne device. Everyone would go nuts and grab that as a better Nexus/Pixel alternative than the OnePlus devices.

That's if the... Lenovo Z5 GT, Lenovo Z6 Pro, ASUS Zenfone 6, ZTE Axon10 Pro, Nubia Redmagic 3, Vivo iQoo, Oppo Reno zoom, Honor View20, Honor Magic 2, Honor Magic 3D, Meizu 16s, BlackShark 2, Redmi K20, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Xiaomi Mi 9... if they haven't already stolen the wind behind their sails yet.

I'm not getting it because it's too big and the curved screen is really bothering. Why can't there be more smol, cute phones like the s10e :(

Nope...too expensive for a "small" upgrade.

There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable features to see if Oneplus could become something more. But they just become another Apple. The fans have turns against them. Goodbye Oneplus.

Asus Zenfone 6 exists so why would I "settle" with a phone that has fewer features.

If Huawei has no Google OS they will not be able to sell smartphones and those with the P30 maybe selling them to replace them with some other smartphone which could be the One Plus 7 Pro

Really like the phone, but edge screen and just to big for my taste. I pass

I would like to get one plus 7 pro, but I hate that edges... And I would rather have notch than pop up camera.

Having the XZ Premium with a 4k HDR display, proper water resistance and a premium headphone jack, I really don't see the need to downgrade to this.

[deleted post]And Where do you think Apple goes to for full assembly of their phones?.....um....China.So...

Notsure, 19 May 2019No 3.5mm, no SD slot, OLED burn in, no thanks.Every Good manufacturer is going OLED guy, good luck avoiding that one.

No thanks.... Getting the Asus Z6 instead with 3.5mm jack, expandable storage, 5k mah battery that can also charge devices, etc. for a much cheaper price.

Andy93, 19 May 2019Exactly. There is literally no reason for NM cards to exist... moreI will absolutely be the first person to tell you that MicroSD cards are better (got it on my LG V20) but since companies like OnePlus and Xiaomi never seem to want to change their form factor to accommodate for a hybrid dual SIM, I was just stating Nano Memory so that they can finally offer expandable memory without excuses. I'm with you; trust me.

I think they should drop the "never settle" motto by now.
IMHO, the only never settle-worthy phones were roughly the middle ones, from 3 to 6T, save for the x. They were cheap, and offered a lot for the price (debatable, but still somewhat true)

With the 7, it's not there anymore: It's pricier and has less features than before, that you're actually settling for buying one.
It was a good run, one plus, hope you don't follow HTC.
