XZP LUL, 20 May 2019trump idea is to bring the manufacture of any kind back to ... moreSpot on,mate..Chinese workers in a smartphone factory make $1.5-$2 per hour..Next iPhones will have "made in U.S.A" label, that means,as you say,20-30$ per hour for workers,so new iPhone 9(basic model) will cost about $5k..I reckon that will do wonders for their sales..

It'll make sense from now that chinese OEMs join to develop several new open source Operating Systems for exported products and open source services offering them in almost maintenance mode in terms of profits so that encourages kill competitors fast and win the maket sales. That would show too who is an allie or not when save money in big quantities is in the middle and against the politics. And if Mr Money wins against old alliances or what.

And once they are ready China ban the installation of all US software from all products manufactured in China for export and ban Apple products in China too. That would be the next natural movement for force the trades... And if that does not work, things could go even worse.

AnonD-794217, 20 May 2019Lets wait till 2020 election guysLandslide win for trump. Don't have to wait.

trump idea is to bring the manufacture of any kind back to usa, to do so he impose tariff, so that company shift their production back to usa, but what they didnt know is that, usa worker will not just demand ren ming bi of 5 for an hour but maybe minimum 20 to 30 usd per hour, so who is gonna absorb the cost ? You think manufacturer will absorb it ? Of course no, they will pass it on to the consumer, the middle and lower class has everything to lose in this trade war.

Now they banned huawei because huawei is almost the largest smartphone exporter in the world to protect their apple. next iphone might cost 2k usd who knows since they playing tricks to kick the competitor out.

To those who say that china banned foreign stuff like youtube, fb and so on, but they do it on their own nation, you are free to use whatever the hell you want in your country. usa is banning the whole huawei production line meaning people outside of china is getting affected if they purchase any of huawei products. Is totally different case to compare with

This was bound to happen. The US perceives China as a threat on a whole new level. This is just the beginning. Huawei would cripple globally (except in their home country) without Android. Although Huawei is well to do financially, creating an operating system of their own and getting developers on board to create applications is a tough job. We have seen the giant Microsoft fail with their Windows Phone OS. Android is too large an Operating System to compete with in the present scenario. As an individual consumer, I can't think of installing applications from unknown sources other than the Google Play Store and I'm sure, almost everyone not living in China would think about the same. The ban put on Huawei will further hurt the company among general public. I never used a Huawei or its subsidiary brand Honor devices but right now, I see there's a need for more smartphone Operating Systems. Surveillance by countries is the norm, whether in their country or globally, in view of threats (like terrorism, civil war, cyber war etc) and to secure a country's cyberspace and technology as well as to control. Humans trying to control their worlds, it's that simple, sometimes ethically and sometimes in unethical ways. That's what Surveillance stands for. Right now, you see, I, as a consumer having used too many Android versions over a decade, I'm in the market looking for a different experience that surpasses my experience with Android. An experience that is worth it. I've had a brief time with Sailfish OS and it was good except that it couldn't do many things Android could at that time, like VoLTE not being supported. If Huawei brings out Salifish OS Smartphones, I might just buy my first Huawei device.

Google spies on its users too for years but since they... moreWell that's because Google is a private company and the worst thing that they'll do is use your data to try and get you to buy something (These companies fight tooth and nail to not hand over precious data to the government unless absolutely needed), while the data gathered by a communist government might be used for something more malicious. like tracking your movements, or profiling.
