I wonder if LG or HTC were also banned - since there is still no Pie updates for their 2018 flagships :).

Why everyone in the world should affect because of US order. Why can't google give access outside US. This is a worst move google ever made. This will give space to someone to enter into the Mobile OS where google is making huge profit.

For all chinese fanboys-I am deeply sorry! Also i am sure that all the politics here hits mainly customers but in the end think, who you give your money to. All companies are equal, all companies spy their customers, but some companies are more equal than others:)))

"Safe and sustainable software ecosystem" well, it'll depends if that means a propietary OS or an Open Source. A propietary one plus their locked bootloader is a BIG NO for the future. If that means work in offer a new Open Source OS with unlocked devices then they are WELCOME.

It's clear that they are removing the word Android for the future.

I'm a Sony fan with no real interest in Huawei's devices but I can't help but feel sorry for the company. You work your ass off to get the company where it is, with numerous high-profile collaborations like Porsche and Leica, only for Mr. Redneck to come and shut your shop down in an instant.

If google becomes politically involved i would accept the idea of replacing android with a new os
