Anonymous, 21 May 2019Precisely but is that ban call a wise decision or a short-s... moreSince this ban came directly from a man called Donald Trump, it's clear that it is extremely stupid move.
America's foreign policy is not care for phone users or people in general. Their policy is to eliminate every possible competition no matter the damage you may cause.
Just look at Libia, Syria...
They cannot afford to enter in open war with China so they are using this methods.
Sick....

Google lost. America lost. The whole world will distance itself from american products. Nobody will ever again trust google and microsoft. Those two companies will be reduced to the land of America. The world will use alternative software. This is a huge loss for america. Trump is an idiot.

THE-TRUTH-REVEALER, 20 May 2019There is a key thing that any OS except Android and iOS lac... moreThey can make a software based on Android because they are still allowed to use Android (it's an open source project) and just make a playstore copy with 0 tax compared with 30% of google's playstore and developers will push their already existing android apk's to it. It's literally 10-15 minutes of work as a developer to publish to one more store if the app package is the same. Huawei already has over 10% market compared with windows phones which never really went over 1% and if they continue to use Android (at least for now) I think they won't loose a lot. Google only licenses their apps but not Android all together.

Rik, 21 May 2019Politics Aside.
Huawei is the by far the most overrate... moreWhat a pile of nonsense lol
Huawei's quality is in no way sub-par to samsung and apple. And mentioning the pricing is ridiculous as pricing around the world is different. I live in Europe and here the 7-month old sub-par iPhone XR 64GB costs more than my p30 pro. Same goes for the Samsung S10 with its throttling and non-efficient exynos SoC that is worse than the 6-month old kirin in huawei and also costing more. Forget about the benchmarks - it's real-life performance is nothing like that.
So if I have to chose between a sub-par exynos version of S10 or S10+ that costs 150-200 euro more, a comparable in size iphone xs max, which over here costs double the price of P30 Pro, or getting a P30 Pro with its awesome batter life, camera zoom and night shots, I'll go with Huawei 100% of the time. In fact, I got my P30 Pro when renewing my contract for the equivalent of AUD 900 - you can't honestly tell me that if you had the option to chose between a S10 for 1200 Australian dollars and a p30 pro for 900, you would choose the Samsung and you'll be able to justify the 30% higher price. Or the 100% price diference between the p30 pro and the xs max

Dealler, 21 May 2019I can hear the popping of Champagne in Samsung.Samsung has 45% of all android phones... so... not such a big deal if they split 10% with all other manufacturers... a gain of maximum 2%.....
Don't overrate this Chinese copy-paste company...

It's actually a win-win situation, as there will be more competition in OS space. If it's about apps ,those will run on may is, their running in W10 is an example it's possible. Who wouldn't want their app to sell.
