Rik, 21 May 2019Politics Aside. Huawei is the by far the most overrate... moreSeriously u are just another toad in the well.
Samsung's battery has been giving issues day in day out and its JUST trying to push Supercharging while it cannot solve their batteries from exploding....now even BEFORE release, it exploded.
iPhone wise, its using the same shit all over again and again and since Job died, there's no real new innovation to bring its tech to the next level.
Instead its just leverage and leverage.
P30 pro's 50x zoom feature could have featured in any of the earlier said phone but why did it only appear in Huawei? Bigger R&D? maybe...but Xiaomi, ZTE, Oppo, Oneplus all will one day feature the same and much earlier, cheaper and better than iPhones or Galaxies which cannot support the most basic function; staying 'alive' long enough.

As for the ban, I dun think it will lasts.
Not to mention 1 China company don't do much, its collective that matters and even Sony etc also had parts in all over. Donald Dump need to ban the whole ASIA or better still....isolate USA from within and that will effectively stop 'intelligence leeching'.

                          Politics Aside.

Huawei is the by far the most overrated and overhyped brand I have ever seen. What's the average age of the Huawei fanboy here, let me guess, 6yrs old?

I don't get what all the hype about a subpar brand who's only talent is copying others and cheating.

I used their devices at the store and I just couldn't understand what all the hype is about?

The device felt far from premium and they're charging almost 2000 dollars for it!!

No wonder I never see any Huawei owners here in Australia because no one in their right mind would pay that much for a shoddy Chinese copy toy.

Over here it's the land of Samsung Galaxy & Apple IPhone

Lots of comments, pro and against.
People saying china stole patents while USA did the same thing over and over. China is just playing the game as other countries such as Russia or EU does. Information is power and they all have their own way of connecting data.
Reality is simple: they can either find a common ground (which might never happen given the fact that for USA a common ground means them heaving the upper hand) or Huawei will just have to use another OS, which, if funded by "the party" as some of you think, will be even more dangerous for users if allegations regarding spying are true. However, users love new things. I would give it a try to a new OS just to check how it actually works. There are chances I would like it more.
This comes from a man that has 1 iphone and 1 samsung / Work & Personal. So yeah. There will always be 2 side of the same story. is just a matter of fact who is telling it :)

Digital multipolarity is as much of a feature of the Silk Road Century as the Belt & Road Initiative's (BRI) many megaprojects are, with each of them going hand-in-hand in connecting the world and advancing the grand goal of creating a community of shared destiny.

That, however, explains why the U.S. feels so threatened by Huawei and is pulling out all the stops in order to sabotage its global growth and delay the inevitable demise of the unipolar system that Washington presides over.
