Ask Edward Snowden if you don’t know. So China banning those is so much justifiable so far as their national security is concern. With huawei, what's circulating are mere allegations which does not equate to being guilty.

huawei talk about their replacement of os well that will fail. what programming langauage ate they going to use mostly languages are made in u.s countries. if they also create their own language then that is good for us developers. lack of support to what our needs and needs of everyone. its hard to code when you read your line of code its in chinese language arrrg no good

Many device users are already settling/have already settled that any device they have, they are being spied upon.
These same users would rather want a better spec device at cheaper price than an expensive one when both of these devices are each respective governments' spying tools. Let's not pretend here that we are not being spied by other western countries shall we. And EU is very pro-competition. Unless there is a strong evidence that can be LEGALLY admitted to EU that Huawei is a security threat, EU will stand by its pro-competition philisophy. Their buying guide is not just decided by one man.

Once they got your blueprints, your no use to them anymore. They will flood the market with cheaper alternatives making you go out of business. That is their innovation.
On top of that, they can be bought with money, they will leak rumors, post prototype images to the highest bidders. No shame when they have money.
And if you dare to sue or take legal action against them. They will cry about injustices, hide.
EU best take care of themselves. Besides, what can EU provide Chinese mobile companies? A new OS? A support to fund new apps for this said OS? All these are lock tied in US.

That's why China is stalling on trade talks with the US. It doesn't won't to commit to FAIR AND HONEST COMPETITION, face PENALTIES IF ANY OF ITS CHINESE COMPANY VIOLATES IP RIGHTS in the future, etc.
This is looooooooong over due to persuade China's mind right and hold the Chinese accountable for its spying and STEALING. PERIOD!

Who gonna buy parts from US, you never know what gonna happen. Chinese phone makers should think sourcing their parts from europeen countrys, who are more neutral toward China. In long term, It's a loss for US.
