What he's been showing is a proof of his being greedy of money and power.
Too bad he represents the USA and even some Americans don't like him.

Instead of participating in blocking Huawei, the EU clearly benefited from this conflict. Fine Google, then still maintain Huawei. If US provides compensation money so that the construction of communication infrastructure remains cheap, chances are the EU will join in blocking Huawei. If not, then don't expect.

EU will do the end of Google. How can a country use worldwide dominant company like Google to create such drama and conflicts. It is unacceptable. This will have counter consequences. USA is not everything. We use android because google is trouble free company. If it becomes trouble company under Trump preasure, then World can make alternative (and after some years) even better OS, alternative to google maps, and so on!!

This will be bad for the American as they will loose credibility in the longterm. This will open eyes of all smartphone manufacturers. They all will try to develop their own chips / their own country's development and of course will, lead to a standard global is which is not under us influence. So today the Americans think they have upper edge but they have lost their credibility as a reliable source for longterm support and in years to come these tech companies will fold

Huawei is still innocent until proven guilty BUT with the known violations that Huawei has done (T-Mobile debacle for one) is enough to freeze Huawei's operations in the US while its under Federal investigation.

                      Let's just state the obvious.

Of Huawei sales where bad , the us would not care.

                      It's pretty obvious.
The Americans are losing their dominance , Huawei has out-innovated their us counterparts is building their own chipsets and is providing reliable products better than their us and Korean competition.

Trump is not blind, and the world isn't either. It's the us economy they are safeguarding by protecting the us companies.

A very clever move by Trump to force a ban via Google since that is the only real way to stop them in Europe as well.

I think the EU should start thinking ahead here... cause if the us can do this they might as well open your front door.

Well... I need Huawei as well. I'm using Huawei too. If Trump wants to remove Android OS and google security updates from Huawei, fine. They should replace to chrome phone and tablet OS on the Huawei instead of Android OS, How about that?

realitychecker, 21 May 2019this is a very sensitive issue to be discussed in open, i a... moreAmerica or DT imposed tariff on Aluminum and Steel citing National Security as a negotiating strategy. This had to be lifted so "new" NAFTA could be signef
This 90 day delay is to pressurise China into signing as the 25% tariff is the last thing DT can do
If imposed now there isn't a place DT can go and China would not sign

DT strategy is one of bullying.
No evidence DT would have you believe that no one at AT&T, Verizon, or any other US network has the smarts to see spying.

The UK and Huawei conduct tests to refute or disprove the allegations

In response if you use Huawei we would share intelligence with you etc
All this from a man that lost $1 Bn the mostest in USA History

Now to explain this The loss is a negotiating strategy to get tax deductions in future years, so it wasn't a loss but a tax write off
My take and anybody with a brain this is a loss or fraud
Trump again citing National security because he can
This is if you go to X barbecue you can't come to my party
Unfortunately DT simply does not care a long as his money is not at stake USA can pay hence the longest Federal Government shutdown, now 25% tariffs at least until July.
The first thing DT did was to lop 40% off tax from 35% to 21%. So now the USA has thr largest debt it ha ever recorded.
With that giveaway cuts to all the other services

Quite simply economic nonsense no art of any deal just bullying
Huawei were selling phones in 2016.
