I'm not Chinese but here there is something I don't understand, Huawei is spying and all are cutting ties with them, but what happens with Facebook, Google, Instagram, Twitter, etc, they are all spying on our data too and nobody cut ties with them...

What? Arm is a UK based company which was bought by Softbank, a Japanese company. Why would they do this? The ban wasn't supposed to be only about the US companies?

this is a far more crushing blow than the google one. if this kept up, you might as well pick up some cheap dlsr+ good sigma lens for the price of p30 pro, will still probably be more useful.

Remember he was also supposed to work toward friendly relationships with Russia? Stop meddling in foreign country's business? Reduce migration? Arrest Clinton and all the other traitors? Well, he's been doing the exact opposite the moment he supposedly came into "power".
And there is total witch hunt against the "far right extremists" despite the fact that supposedly someone from the "opposite" party is in "power"?
                Yea...not suspicious at all.

Besides, this is bad for both sides so they're really also crippling themselves as well as their allies who just got caught in between (EU).

I think it's more likely that Trump ( a US businessman) is unhappy that a Chinese business (Huawei) has overtaken Apple. He's also made it pretty clear he doesn't much like China

So this would be consequences of the recent event

Google and Apple don't need more money, and minor financial loss (For Apple there may even be financial profit as there will be less competition and China doesn't seem to be willing to ban iPhone sales, so no loss for them) is completely acceptable in pursuit of their ultimate goal.

Think about the way everyone (Facebook, Twitter, google, even Paypal) tries to get rid of the "far right". In terms of profit it doesn't make sense either. Why would any business want to get rid of part of their customer base? Yet they do it. Because it's about much more than money...

This will be temporarely since people still want to own and buy huawei products.

rolandudv, 22 May 2019AFAIK, the majority of the market, if not the whole market ... moreUp until now I realised ARM monopolises the mobile market in terms of CPU design. Its just disguised as multiple CPU vendors such as Qualcomm, Exynos, Mediatek, Kirin, etc. When ARM cuts ties with Huawei, it becomes quite apparent of the dependancy. Not only does this affect Huawei's mobile devices but also the servers and network infrastructure. Stealing would just prove Huawei a criminal but then again, China is immune to IP theft.

This is just too much starting to look like preparations for a war... One thing is healthy throwing wrenches into your opponent's works in a fair free trade competition and other thing is government-controlled crippling of enemy country's economy.
