          9.2mm is too thick though. The battery size isn't an excuse either as other phones have had same size battery in slimmer frame. Even the Lenovo P2 from 3 years ago was slimmer. Not saying I wouldn't buy this, it ticks a lot of boxes. But would like to see how it feels in hand and in pocket

            For me it's either this or a Redmi K20 Pro (depending on it's final specs).
            I'm done with samsung phones and OP 7 Pro/P30 Pro are a bit too rich for my blood!

              We need phones like this, phones for the hardcore users. It has everything a power user would need, nothing more, nothing less. Take the camera department for example. A telephoto lens is nice to have, but with a zoom of 2X or 3X is more fuss than worth it. On the contrary, a super-wide is much more useful in more scenarios. And with its clever design, Asus save a few dollars by not having to use a third camera.
              Love it, unfortunately its timing was too bad for me. My phone broke a month ago and had to buy a new. If Asus was around by that time, I'd have almost certainly bought it.

                IMO this easily secures a nomination for the best phone of the year.

                              I hope someone can make an Android App, or Xposed module, or a Custom MOD... which allows you to control the camera motor.

                              I would like to use it as a Kickstand, when watching videos on a table..... (and not have to have the Camera App running in the background).

                                    There are lots of features missing from android so asus approach is perfect imo. You get the stock android experience and the features it lacks
