I hope they get the camera processing on a decent level, otherwise, it will be the worst waste of a camera sensor in history, the samples so far are on par with low-midrangers, despite the adavanced sensor technology, and at under half of performance of other phones with this kind of sensor. I'll repeat myself, but there's grass in a sample that can't even be distinguished as grass, while the Huawei phones depict it at a premium compact camera level of clarity, and on Asus you can't even tell what you're looking at, it's all random pixels.
I'm myself looking for a 6.4-6.5 IPS with 3.5mm, SD card, 4000+ battery and no notch (popup would be better than Asus approach for me), and a decent back camera (not necessarily the best one). This one meets all this, except the camera, which is not even decent. I'm in shock at how people assess cameras, there are quite a few models that are praised while they're far behind competition, and some decent ones that are criticized. For example, I consider the Poco F1 camera better than this, despite a lot less advanced sensor.

The Zenfone 6 is a beauty at 500 bucks, be it euro, pounds or dollars. Asus made the perfect upper midrange - flagship type phone. Simply brilliant. Kudos to the new ceo of Asus, making a device which actually suits the consumer's needs, and giving us a choice rather than oneplus who's only focusing on raising the price of their flagships and removing the parts needed the most, especially the 3.5mm jack(buying type C headphones raises the amount a person has to spend). Asus is definitely heading the right way. You go Asus!
