What about the sensible among people who have great wired headphones. Screw Samsung and this phone Id rather have a j2 core than this garbage with holes in the screen no buttons and a back copied straight from a Huawei.

Also phone manufacturers: This year we added a sixth camera! Next year we're hoping for seven!

A weird thought hit me, what if the head of the S-Pen has a headphone jack? Think about it, it already connects wirelessly to the phone and it's such a small piece that AKG could probably slap a DAC right in there. Keep the pen in the phone and it's a direct connection to the audio of the phone. Remove the pen and it's a wireless headset with a 3.5mm connection. That...would actually be ingenious...

I want to upgrade from my 3 yo galaxy a7 2016, I've skipped note 9 for newer design, better telephoto and super wide camera..

Good wired earphones ar... moreUnlike many, I have some high quality bluetooth heaphones from Sennheiser and Sony, and, they both can be used as wired and wireless, and so far none of the ones I know who tried them was able to tell the difference between the wired and wireless mode. And if you buy >1000$ phone don't moan about 250$ price of a good wireless headset.
Thing is most of them are arguing about it without even having a chance to test a good wireless headset, and to see how good is to be able to move around the house or outside without the hassle of wired ones.
Even if this proves not to be true, and Note 10 will have headphone jack, wireless will be the solution for manufacturers, because 1 in 100 will actually use the phone for music, and maybe 1 of that 100 will actually care if it's wired or wireless. And that are the numbers Samsung and others care about. We here on a tech forum are a minority, and not the relevant numbers for them
