That the wired headphones do not need to be charged separately? Yes as Samsung earplugs can be charged wrelessly via cellphone option. So you can charge both at same time by charging only one device which is phone via phone charger.
That the wired headphones provide more reliable connectivity? Yes they provide. Wireless is the future.
That the wired headphones provide better sound quality? Man today many earphones have the optio for wired and wireless i can tell you these earphones used wired or wireless offers same sounds quality.

Well even a fold passed testing with machines which use same pressure speed etc and fold and unfold the device 200 000 times in an arean without any dust or rubbish to come to the crease made by folding.
And yet the galaxy fold has been temporarily cancelled due to known reasons with no clear options whether Samsung will or will not start production of fold.
This going to be same.

3.5mm Jack Fetishist, 02 Jun 2019I just love the "you're the minority" arguement.
One day... moreI did not say "you're a minority", all of us interested in tech, here on this forum, we are a minority. Even if we are a million, Samsung sold almost 300 millions in 2018, so we are under 1%.
As for wired vs wireless, from that 1% there is at least half who don't care if it's wired or wireless.
Your argument about "you see a cheap on-ear headphones in the mall" it's not valid here. If I'm about to pay over 1000$ on a phone, I'm not gonna cheap on a headset that I might use with my next phone also, and maybe even the one after that.
I have wireless from Sennheiser, that my wife swiftly stoled, and Sony, and also wired from AKG, and since I bought the first wireless, I haven't touched the AKG, because quality is the same, I tested both the Sennheiser and Sony with wired too, the difference is made by the quality of the headset itself; but the mobility I get from the wireless headset, when woking, at my desk, tinkering with some PC I build, or in the kitchen, listening music while cooking or whatever, you won't be seeing me going back to wired.
As for removing the 3.5 jack, the company, in this case Samsung, they spend less without the jack, they can make the phone water resistant easier, they can fit things inside the phone easier, and still have 99% of their customers satisfied, so they'll do it.

GIF, 02 Jun 2019People buying Note because of one very specific thing - sty... moreUhh, no, they buy it because it's a flagship smartphone that has every feature you might need INCLUDING a stylus. If Note buyers were only looking for a phone with a stylus then they would've gone for LG Stylo series instead, but they didn't.
Just because it's old it doesn't mean it's better if it disappears. There's not a single reason not to have this good old technology when tens of millions of people are still using a pair of wired headphones.

Note series have always been kinda ultimate all in one device. But at the same time it was a niche device due to its size and price. With 3.5 mm removal this series will become even more niche and I'm absolutelu sure that losses due to dropped sales will be much more siginificant that profit from selling dongles and wireless headphones. It's absolutely obvious that phone manufacturers remove 3.5 mm jack to push consumers to purchase expensive wireless headphones thus increasing profit. And it's really sad to see that they keep consumers for idiots trying to justify removal of headphone jack by need to insert bigger battery. Such a lie and disrespect to consumers.

This is why i dislike fanboys. The very fanboys who used to adore Samsung for keeping the jack are now defending Samsung for removing it. 45w charging? Samsung had always stuck with slow QC 2.0 until now, so there was no reason for them to make a huge jump to 45w charging. Even just QC 4.0 would've made customers happy.

Scot, 01 Jun 2019You do not need a magnet attachment. Just use the dongle th... moreI have about 9-10 head and earphones which have 3.5mm jack, and they're high quality stuff so I don't feel the need to buy new ones and burn money. So, I just don't want to get a dongle for stuff which doesn't need it.
The magnetic jack outside the phone was one of the ways to save space inside the phone, although you still need a DAC inside the phone.
And may I remind you, you may use a USB-C earphone, even in phones which has 3.5mm jacks, like Galaxy S10...
So I just don't understand the hate. Choice was supposed to be good, right?
Also, without the jack, modifying the music (pitch, tempo, equalizer, etc) doesn't happen easy.
So, logically, there's no reason to ditch the jack, still if they insist on the trend, then cool, I'll get the S10.

GIF, 02 Jun 2019And that's the point - advanced, most expensive etc. Users ... more"advanced, most expensive etc"
Then It SHOULD have a headphone jack.
"Users of Note don't care about 3.5mm jack"
Hold on sec, what the actual f*** kind of assumption is that? I thought one of the reason many people buy Note series was because of its completeness? And also, wireless headphones users don't mind the presence of a headphone jack, but lack of it surely annoys those who use wired ones. There's absolutely no point of removing a headphone jack from any phone.. end of discussion.
