[deleted post]So what if i am a Nokia fanboy ? I like Nokia Phone, is my money, do i need ur permission on my spending ? Since u get so piss off when i said Window 8 gonna be Android Killer doesn't that make u a Android Fanboy ? I want a OS that can compete against Android so that user have more choice, on the other hand u wish Android been the sold OS system to monopolised, so who's feeding the Google bosses with Yacht & Private Jet here ?

personally, based on the post i liked the features Win 8 is offering. should be good for Microsoft and the manufacturers.

as some one pointed, need information on bluetooth file transfer ability.

alas, this can grab a bit of market if Win 8 has the openness to allow flexibility to devs.and thats where android wins, as of today. and as an ex windows phone user, i am afraid of their cost and limited apps

AnonD-185, 03 Feb 2012MeeGo would be a very good competitor if the project wasn't... moreplease, lets not be superficial, facts please. MeeGo didnt kick off, story closed. why blame Elop, at least he is showing some direction to the sinking ship. try encourage him to focus on whats in hand now, than lament on what you could not.

Anonymous, 03 Feb 2012Doesn't mean jack until the actual sales numbers come in.if the phone feels good in my hand, user friendly, easy to connect and integrate i wouldn't need tons of apps or or give a damn about how's it selling...

(or which os or manf. or is it hip...)

I think Windows 8 will be a major breakthrough for Microsoft as well as for Nokia.

I am looking out for an answer to the same questions. Compatibility of Apollo with Lumia 710. I am so much excited about the rumors of the features in next major update.

Great job by Microsoft, they still have a lot of things to fix, but thats the right way to go!
The current OS looks like a BETA, yet this one will be the real deal. Dont be too optimistic about the compatibility with the PC OS though, the interface will be similar, maybe the browser and skype will work the same, but in rest, there is little a mobile OS, only a few MB big, can do, comparing to its GB brother.
So dont expect your PC programs and games to run at your mobile. And a custom version, means that the companies themselves would have to bother to convert them. ATM W8m is not a major player, so its unlikely the majority will bother...

MSFT is hated by both manufacturers and carriers, so keep dreaming about any kind of success.

                                      P.S.
Old WM 6.x is still better sold than WP7.

same kernel with desktop means same virus threads. so you need to install anti-virus program oh wait all your personal infos are inside your phone so how to defend hackers stealing it in their own platform lol.

i guess i will pass through ios again
