these two will continue to fight each other while windows might sneak under the radar and catch-up with them or even over take them both

What about phone specs? Are they very similar or totally different?
Even if they were the same apple's apps shouldnt crash as they were made for apple. Android covers everything from £50 to £500 so has a large market with tonnes of devices to make its apps run!

iphone crashes here, android crashes there... baaah! i'm getting sick and tired of it!!! seriously, it's becoming an eyesore reading all these bs rants.. Want something that doesn't crash? get a dumb phone. nokia 3310 to be precise. so even if it literally crashes from 10 feet above it would still be fine. problem solved.

Kimo, my opinion exactly, to each his own...

And there's no point in saying "my Android phone crashes so iPhone is better than mine"... For every phone that crashes, there are a lot more that don't...

So you say your phone crashes... Who cares!
I say my phone doesn't crash... Who cares!

In the end, you have to be happy (or not) with what you own, not what everybody else owns...

These charts are problematic. They jusy split the percentage by OS version and does not tell any absolute number of time the crash occours in a given period of time. I work as a data analyst and analysis of the charts are my daily bread and butter. All I can say with reference to these charts are that the person who posted these dont have enough data here in the charts for the claims made here.I personally use a Android phone so I am not biased at all towards any specific OS type...this is one of the article which gsmarena should take back with a message of apologies for confusions..

I don't know the point of comparing iOS with Android ! Users buy the device that serve their needs which can be found in one of the 2 OSs, iOS has apps advantage over Android and Android has UI customization advantage over iOS (just one example to clear my point) but in the end each user will use what he likes whatever u guys say about them so lets just stop this useless fight between iFans and Android fans ;)

this report is not necessarily conclusive, not everyone reports their apps to crash, developers have to make their apps work with the mobile OS's and hardware, however the fact that android has multiple devices on the market whereas iOS only have three devices on sale it is still rather impressive that there have been less crash reports on android.
however the apps on iOS should be able to quickly iron out any issues if developers sort things out.

I counter to this statement.. I have almost 3 different Android devices and an IPhone 4s. I have seen apps of similar nature Crashing and quitting too badly on the Androids whilst the IPhone has a great sturdiness in the apps... So the above post aint the one i would second to
