Honestly don't know why ppl here are getting upset over Apple still using Lightning port, it's just as good and in some cases better than type-C so whats the fuss?

is it possible that there will be an iphone XI Pro with USB type C like there is ipad pro with USB Type C, regular models will have lightning port at the end of the day, apple earns tens of millions US dollars from licencing lightning to third party manufacturers, so why will they rescind this lucative market?

Not crazy about iPhones anymore and will never buy one again.. But I will say at least Apple made the notch smaller and they finally added USB-C.
I'm really waiting for the Pixel 4. Right now, I'm enjoying my LG G5 again because I bought a 3200 mAh battery that doesn't overheat and it does lasts longer. Removable battery, ftw!

They aren... moreWell, smartphones are mostly about software, and Android is definitely not IOS but you are right, IDK why Google would chase after Iphone with the Pixel when the phone cn only be a success if it seeks to provide a great alternative experience.
I've never got what's the deal with "clean software". Its not like skins like EMUI or Samsung One make your phone slow and the phone is loaded with bloat ware that gets in the way how you use the phone. Just move them out of sight and that's it.

IDK about the re... moreIf I had the choice between the S10, P30, or Pixel 4, I would actually choose the Pixel 4 because of its clean software and camera. I don't plan on buying one soon because they are way out of my budget, but I still don't have very much hope for their lineup, they still have some kinks to work out. It's really interesting to see Google do this though, they could've kept doing the whole Nexus thing. I'm sure Google has many satisfied Pixel owners, though.
On the iPhone side of things, even though the 2019 lineup doesn't seem too interesting, the 2020 iPhones seem very exciting from early leaks.

They aren't amount the best selling phones and i don't even think Google is trying to achieve that. I'm not american, but if i'm not mistaken, even Wireless carriers are not selling them and most people there buy their phones from them.
Besides, it really can't be "The best alternative to Apple" when it's actually aiming to be as little of alternative as possible.

American's pride will drive them to buy the Pixel , its the best native Android phone and has excellent specs so it definitely will be seen as the best alternative to Apple.
As a non American, personally, if you gave me to choose between IPhone XS, Galaxy S10 , P30, And Pixel 4 I would choose the S10 or P30. They are the ones innovating the industry and it shows in both phones, they deserve the support.
