Nokia is way ahead interms of battery backup, call quality, signal strength, customer service, resale value ,overall build quality. Give n8 with belle to a naive user who is nt a geek. He will surely nt realise that the phone is working on a 680mhz cpu and 256 mb ram. Also if u give him the optimus 2x he will nt realise that the thing is working on a dual core cpu. So knowing everything is sometimes equal to knowing nothing.

i believer Elop has done the right thing with the burning platform, making a decision was important at that instance of time. if the decision proves fruitful or not - that shall be decided in future. I guess he did that to prevent the future losses, nokia shut down sales offices in couple of countries, laid off employees, cost cuttings..stephen has to consider all these factors...
honestly, no difference between s60v3 and s60v5 , and pathetic user experience. how many handsets did nokia release on these versions. for how many years there wasnt any improvement, be it h/w or software? N95 was the last of the brilliance. a good 5 years wasted by nokia , it watched ios and android take the lead. behaved like the Hare in the Hare & tortoise story.
Now no use lamenting.

Nokia had an option to improve symbian. Imagine, if belle was released with the n8 , it would have been an entire diffrnt story. But elop thought otherwise. Atleast he should have kept his mouth shut. N8 was selling well at that time when burning platform theory was leaked.

any updates on WP7 will be governed by Micorsoft, manufacturers has least role to play. WP7 doesnot allow any customisations as of date, all updates roll out more or less at the same time.
btw, nokia is committed to WP7 bcoz it doesnt have another option. secondly, samsung reputation has increased with simultaneous updates for Galaxy series.

Yeah, I know, I know... Symbian is not dead; Belle is awesome and all that. But at the end of the day, its like adding a 7.1 surround system to a 21" CRT TV:
It might have been cool once; but we're past that.

if NOKIA wana show something ....then it has to improove its look..inspite of ..N8 ....12 MP, 4000x3000 pixels, Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, Xenon flash..like or might be it`ll full of Variable aperture, tracking touch autofocus, geo-tagging, face, smile and blink detection, wide dynamic range, Smart Auto mode, image stabilization, Beauty Shot..den it can be GOOOOD CAMERA.... :D

But nokia is a company thats fully committed towards wp7 and will take care of its customer by providing regular updates n patches. But same thing cannot be said for samsung . Ask Bada users. Android is of prime importance for them

AnonD-12210, 09 Feb 2012i think that comes with lots of accesories. The design is unique design gets +1. but the price doesnt justify. and i cant think of any extra accessories which add upto that price. honestly samsung or lg are not bad in supplying accessories.
