If any of you honestly think that Apple isn't cashing in on the 'target ad' data mining market in some way, I've got a piece of a bridge that I'd love to sell to each and every one of you, real cheap.

This is true. Google is interfering too much with the search results and whatnot. They show us what they want us to see, not what we need. Blocking adult content is fine but they are doing much more than that. They are blocking anything that goes against their ideology.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2019When you said intelligent search results from Google, were ... moreYes! This video explains it all about google and why they should not be trusted.

Basically, they want to make sure their users will act, think, vote, speak, interact, and expect others to do the same things - just as google/facebook deems what is appropriate and "correct" and what is not. What is ok to say and what is not. What is ok to think and what is not. What is ok to do and what is not. And what you should do and what you should not.

If people continue using google/facebook and their products and services they do it at their own risk of being manipulated now. But if they are smart, they keep away from them.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2019Wasn't it apple cloud that got hacked and leaked all those ... moreWasn't hacked, those users had weak and predictable passwords set up. There are databases of usernames and used passwords leaked from countless low-security websites. All anyone needed to do is to try a few passwords from those databases.

Always, I mean ALWAYS use a different and non-guessable password for each of your accounts, otherwise you leave yourself out to get your accounts accessed/stolen by other people.

No smartphone is "secure" or "safe", I'm surprised Apple is keeping this up even though there's substantial evidence that iOS doesn't prioritize privacy
