In fairness though, I really don't care about the design like more insecure users who want to show off a design nobody cares about. My Essential Phone had no forehead but had a chin. As long as the phone performs well, that's what matters to me the most.

I'm so happy with my Pixel 3 right now after seeing these photos. It has a forehead and chin but at least it looks more symmetrical. Perfectly even. And it's a few millimeters shorter. This Pixel 4 design just looks weird.

Why am I not surprised?
Front looks really antique, like copied of some 2-3 year old phone. Perhaps they tried copying the S8 there: "Hey guys, I've got an S8 still lying around, so since we're out of ideas about the design, as always, why don't we copy the S8? It's from spring 2ß17, so I'm sure no one will notice!"
Back looks even worse, with a poor attempt at trying to copy the Mate20 camera, which went badly wrong XD

Great and clean industrial design without any ugly chichi and blingbling. Loving it. If they use a BIGGER camera sensor this time I would buy it directly.

Only clueless people will defend this design, just because it has neither a notch nor a punchole. Yeah we get your point, but some other people around the world did all of it with a MUCH BETTER design already. So what is your point?
Look at Meizu. Their 16s has no notch no hole, no slider, no pop-up camera. It is symmetrical well balanced beautiful and in fact VERY SMALL top and bottom bezels. Nobody can tell with a straight face, this is what Google can do best with their immense resources meanwhile a small Chinese manufacturers design that beautiful thing.
On the other hand camera module straight out copied from a dead Chinese manufacturer called LeEco. Do you remember LeEco Pro 3 and its WEIRD smiling face like camera module?
I have to wonder if this is the result of having bezel loving thick headed old HTC team?
