Anonymous, 18 Jul 2019Proud of having camera overheating pop-ups ha!Other brand did not have to show overheating cam pop up because video with lower bitrate was capped to 10min.
My Z4 could once record 30 min of 4K (54Mbps) , it just stopped because memory got full. I forgot to set sd card as cam storage.
Something was even nicer, the overheating pop up on S6 telling device was too hot that it was going to reboot.

5040x2160 is no longer 4K.
4K wide monitors are not 5040x2160 as well.

I would say this is the true 4K resolution in 21:9 ratio (the Xperia 1's resolution barely makes it to the true 8M pixels that 4K really is).
Now it might be really overkill, but I prefer this over the presence of a screen cutout.

5k and 4k resolution is over kill for a phone. QHD is enough no need to have a 4k or 5k on a phone. and what is the point of having 4k or 5k resolution on phone.????? if the Is a smart tv much appreciate. but for a phone BIG NO..
