Well we all could believe it will be the best camera phone of the year with best doxmark score but i said it many times before i say it again.
Even 150 euros camera from Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon or Cannon will do a lot better shots than this thing.
And on a small screen all photos will looks awesome but printed on a large postcard it will looks very ugly like photo from any other phone device and brand.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2019Huawei phones copied iOS and Samsung UI including Samsung c... moreEMUI used to be an iOS ripoff but now it's more of a mix between a flat design from iOS and Material Design from older Android, which can be said for Android Pie and Samsung's One UI as well. But EMUI never looked like Samsung Experience nor TouchWiz. I agree with you on the curved display, though, and honestly it's a bad design which no company should ever implement to their products. Now with this perpendicularly curved display I think Huawei is being ridiculous about design.

Please guys, easy with the comments, those are just smartphones. Regardless of the Company you choose to buy them from, they will always be the winners.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2019Huawei phones copied iOS and Samsung UI including Samsung c... morein case of Huawei, if there was no Huawei, as someone already said, Samsung would play safe. It's the competition that benefits us all. Every manufacturer influences the mobile phone in a period of time. You can't imagine mobile world without Samsung, Sony, LG, HTC, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi and also BBK Electronics (Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus) because each of them have had and will have unique innovations that make other manufacturers try harder. In the present time, to be honest, the Chinese manufacturers have really been innovating in the recent years. I'm not saying Samsung is bad, cuz it's not. But all I'm saying is that Smasung is not the company we knew like 4,5 years ago. I myself don't see any difference between their recent flagship except the CPU, GPU and camera upgrades that every manufacturer does. But it's an innovation that makes a company stand out. Consider Huawei's Photography achievements. When they introduced the first triple camera (I'm not saying the number of cameras is important, it's the functionality), when they brought Periscope camera and now they're bringing this new video feature. I'm saying it again, Samsung is not bad at all because almost 80% of mobile phones do what we need them to. It's the little differences that makes smartphones unique. So, I hope all of the companies keep innovating and coexist.

This will definitely be a great device no doubt, but it'll also be too expensive. So regardless of all the novelties it'll bring, none will be enough to justify the 1000+ USD price tag.
Maybe I'll think about buying one these monster phones next year or even later, when their price gets into the 400 - 500 USD range.

Hopefully they put more effort on video recording side this time around.. Also, they need to have a better image processing so that the pictures will look more realistic this time around. Even after all the updates my P30 occasionally suffers from inaccurate color rendering such as reddish brown and greenish blue. S10 is utterly horrible when it comes to details but at least it gets the colours right most of the time.

I knew somebody would say that, but no, buying a Samsung phone now is quite a risky move if not as risky as getting from Huawei. With South Korea facing the trade sanction and feeling increasing amount of political pressure from Japan, the best bet for everyone right now is OnePlus and Sony, or Xiaomi if you're running out of budget.
