Sony can't seem to keep up with the competition and looks like they don't want to compete at all. Sony gave us something we didn't ask for like Dynamic Vibration (imitates Playstation controller feedback) and 21:9 aspect ratio (for netflix and multi-window which 18:9 can accommodate.) Sony should have given us bigger battery instead. I would like to see sony implement their inScreen speaker tech.

Samsung has extraordinary built quality, beautiful screen, tons of features and awesome camera when it comes to video.
Huawei is dominating when it comes to photography and are also doing really good on battery department (and fast charging).
Both even have features like wireless power share and both OneUI and EMUI are stable, fast and fluid.
And Sony is just being expensive. Not saying that they make bad phones, but there are better phones for same or even lower price.

He says Xperia 1 are 95% as a complete phone, but others already at 99%. Camera a lot better on P30 Pro, video recording a lot better on S10+, etc. I guess you agree with it since you are the one share the review link.
I wont deny Xperia 1 finally a great phones by Sony after years of fail implementation (X-performance to XZ3). Its just others already one step forward.

Its hard market, especially now eith S10+ doing so many things right and p30pro killing it in the camera department. Sony needs to become a trademark in the phone industry and up their game properly.

Well.. I don't care about how popular Sony is. I am very happy with my new Sony and it's features. The 21:9 screen is a beauty. If Sony makes these kind of phones I will keep on buying.. Right now the number one.

Actually is pretty good, they left many countries and on that period the only new phones released were the Xperia 10 and Xperia 10 Plus.

Please all of you including gsmarena do some research before reporting.
At the beginning of this year sony mobile existed many country and focus on certain market that still has big market share such as japan, Europe and hk…. so the drop is expected to reduce operation cost in all the country it existed.
Don't take me wrong, I am not saying this strategy is good at least they try to minimize loss and increase profit.
Easy to say the sony ceo just don't want to throw money into mobile business.
