Here's why the Galaxy Note10 and Note10+ don't have a headphone jack

The company anticipated the backlash, and thus had a few reasons at the ready.

Stupid excuses... Designers can choose to add or remove whatever they want, and so they did...
The Asus ROG Phone II has 2 haptip motors (radial and linear), 3 USB-C ports, a headphone jack, stereo speakers, 6000 mAh battery, pressure sensors, etc.... And yes it is ridiculously big phone, even bigger than the Note 10+ with a smaller display, but that was the design choice without excuses...

So they got rid of something extremely useful just so they could increase the battery size by 100mAh? What a bunch of dumb arse!!

While I don't care that much for the missing audio jack that first explanation is sooo BS.

Or they could have added 1mm thickness and add a headphone jack and still even have place fpr bigger battery(more than 100mah)

I think the real reason behind removing the 3.5mm jack is to make the bezel even smaller, so the screen looks even more sexier compare to the competitors. Personally, I don’t care about the bezel much. I’d rather have the 3.5mm jack included. But, the marketing people in Samsung think totally differently.

And here I am waiting for this to be officially release in the Philippines just so I can buy the Note 9 on a huge discount. LOL.

Well, I guess this is the definite end of the old port on cell phones. Oh well, times change.

They did it to save cost in sealing the jack and the analogic circuitry and chips, plus save even more removing the face ID for pay the Microsoft licenses offering you less useful hardware features.

Lol 100mAh... I don't believe them. The last thing you should do is believe an executive that want to justify and sell you his product. And more when its overpriced.

                    No radio
                    No jack
                    No 90 HZ (At Least)
                    No MicroSD

                    Bye Samsung

Really bad excuses, i do not agree with it, 4300mA is not big enough, Samsung should learn from Xiaomi, how they could put a huge 5500mA on their Max 3 with the jack on.

Oh wow only 100maH..why are they lying so much...they wanted to save more money..a good headphone jack...cost a lot

More people should do this kind of thinking instead of bashing and talking about things that they don't take time to really understand

Their choice to remove the jack which is a legacy port that isn't even that great

Seems to me the compensation is not outweigh the benefits of having 3.5mm jack at all.
Others might have different opinions tho
