Male or female panda? 'Cause female is 70-100 kg and male up to 160 kg so if anyone who isn't a panda steps on it and their weight is 140 kg when the mobile can stand only 90, it'll end badly. It's rather important for elderly who often use such basic phones and once in a while don't notice stuff they have under their feet or stuff they leave on their couch when they sit on it. It's possible to sit on something and destroy it, for example glasses - which I know from personal experience and my weight back then was approx. 38 kg so less than a panda. A mobile should be more durable than your average glasses but still...

2. NokiaHMD is not Nokia before, NokiaHMD's goal is still on its early stages of restoring what Microsoft did to bring down Nokia. They are doing these 2G/3G phones for 3rd world countries and elderly or even young people who doesn't give a damn thing about smartphones.

Doesn't specify whether the 900/1800 is under 2G, 3G, or LTE. 5G is out of question..

You will be surprised how well Nokia 105 sold in the market. It's HUGELY popular.

I wish this phone had 4G LTE capabilities with hotspot functionality. Would be a perfect tether/emergency phone. Or a portable mp3 player.

2. That guy just said this won't help Nokia, it's pretty useless make 13 EUR phones.... they should focus on real phones. Remember old Nokia?
Anyway I don't say this phone can't be used in certain situations but those are pretty rare. No offence, please.

It's still no good. It should have at least 3G support. More and more areas are discontinuing 2G service, and it's not like Nokia hasn't had small and cheap 3G feature phones before. The 10-year old 2730 Classic is an example.

Awesome! Great value for such an investment. Must wait for some season sale to get it! Now seriously, better this than that 1GB LG for a hundred. At least it doesn't pretend to be a smartphone.
