Vote with your wallets and don't but the Note10. Samsung will soon change their mind about the headphone jack and micro SD. As you say the Note5 and S6 are proof

And it's true for the price when this case huawei definitely needs to be more than a fair cheaper. Better camera yes... the only reason I'm considering it over the rog phone 2 is for those two 40mp cameras...i can no longer support the note.
But the note comes with 256gb base ufs 3, spen, and way better display. And the first 7nm euv chip.
Huawei doesn't have much better than the camera.

pda96, 11 Aug 2019I'm with you. The lack of a jack is a deal killer. Beside... moreV50 5G looks good but a bit too expensive. If it were more like 750USD it'd be worth it. There's the Asus ZenFone 6 too. Or even the Lenovo Z6 Pro

I'm not sure about that 3D ToF camera on the Note10+, not sure if I needed it. On another side, 256GB internal memory is a lot despite the lack of microSD card slot on the Note10. The omission of headphone jack would definitely hurt me a lot, but at least Samsung compensate that with an USB-C earphone. It might won't produce the same quality as an earphone or a headphone connected to a proper 3.5mm headphone jack, but I can forgive that for portability.

Rida Issa, 11 Aug 2019Everyone is waiting for Huawei mate 30 pro, but that's funn... moreYou miss the part where Huawei triumph. Mate 20 Pro introduce way too many things before Samsung does. Triple camera setup before S10+, 7nm processor before Samsung does, 3d face unlock, in display fps, reverse wireless charging, 40w Supercharge out of the box, massive 4200mah battery before S10+ does, 3x optical zoom camera (P30 already 5x zoom) whereas Samsung still using 2x zoom, etc.
Yes the specialty about Note is the S pen, no doubt about that. And in my country, Samsung flagship always pricier than Huawei's. Mate 30 Pro will introduce new things, again. Cross my fingers.

Although I voted pre order I will be going to att to see:
How much more months do I still owe on my Note 8
If their $150 gift card work to pay the rest.
My other problem is I wanted the 5G version, and the question will be: once it arrives to att will there be any promotions? Its really dumb that we can't grab it now. Its dumber that the 5G has same battery
Over all I am happy that most of the people are looking some where else or waiting for price to drop, because Sami shouldn't feel safe. They are not submitting any exciting tech and the only exciting thing was the 45W charger which I have to pay a lot to get! Really!!!

The problem isn't the specs of Note 10 but rather the pricing and it marketed as Note 10. If they had called it Note 10 Neo or Lite or whatever inferior term and priced it lower than $900 (S10 price), it wouldn't have been such a big fuss. Samsung is going backwards while Huawei's climbing up the ladders...oh and no microSD?? What gives??

Note9 is much better. The zero compromise device. Unlike this here...
Don't buy this. Maybe Sammy will get the hint and go back to the headphone jack and SD slot in the small Note10 for the next iteration, like when the S6/Note5 removed the SD slot and IP.

I was planning to get the Note 9 but with no headphone jack and no SD Card slot I will no longer buy Samsung for the first time in my life. I am done with Samsung until they bring back headphone Jack and stop taking away my S.D. Card.

Everyone is waiting for Huawei mate 30 pro, but that's funny, cause when mate 20 pro unvailed last year, the price was so so so high, it even reach the Samsung galaxy note 9, I'm talking in Canada, it costs 1300 CA dollars without contract. So for 150$ more you get the galaxy note 10+, I don't understand people. The mate 30 pro will only come with a great camera and probably same technology as Iphone face ID (big notch), but still it doesn't have the best screen (great colors and dynamic amoled), it will not be 12gb of ram(minimum) or it's going to be an option, also it doesn't have the pen and all the hardware the galaxy note 10+ has as WiFi 6, 256gb of storage minimum, geogesture in the S pen, 2 tof, AR, steel frame, the punch hole (no big notch) and other more... So I guess the price if the mate 30 pro is going to be same or a little bit less than the galaxy note 10+...

There's only two phones that will be included in my choices this year as I upgrade again. Note10+ and Mate30 Pro. I really like the new Note but have to wait a couple more months when the new Mate is released before decision time.

Imagine me, I still have my galaxy s6, it yas been 4 years now and soon I'm going to preorder the galaxy note 10+, this going to be revolutionary for me haha. Note series are always the phone with quality and classy looking. It's NOTE note mate hahaha. I don't think it's fare to compare the note with mate series cause it's 2 different philosophies.

Shakur, 11 Aug 2019I currently own Samsung Galaxy s9+
But man huawei is killi... moreThe Mate 30 Pro looks amazing, and that super zoom capability is surely a buy for many people, but the Note 10 has other things in plus, such as the S-pen(that is why a Note is a Note), and a bigger screen(the +version).
One thing is certain: Samsung has a serious competition when it comes about Huawei.
