Their device are strong even in upper midrangers segment and with Nokia 9 pureview with better cameras and SD855+ comming this year they can outbeat even apple huawei or samsung.
IF SD710 is good enough and does the same thing like SD855+ do then really paying more for 0,02s faster CPU is pointless he said it in article.
And i think he is right.

If SD710 does same thiong their users require or need the SD8xx is not necesary.
Its not essential in phone.
If SD710 does same things like SD855+ but just a 0,002 secs slower then SD855+ is really a waste to use in realme phones.

If not Stock Android, a close to stock android skin is what we users want.
OnePlus with their OxygenOS is doing a great job and I think it's what we prefer. I am using Realme X now and it's working fine but the thing is it lags heee and there while playing a simple game like Crossy Road. Optimization is the main thing and so is the visuals. ColorOS looks so childish and boring.
Bring OxygenOS from your cousin company and it will work just fine with the users or just...create something like that. I don't want those boxy toggles when I swipe down for the notification panel and damn with that settings menu. Eww!

There's only so long you can keep churning out cheap phones with low margin before cost start to rise when you grow, then people will stop buying your phones and look for the next cheaper phones. There's no loyalty there in the cheap market.

Between stock Android and ColorOS or any OS, which I'd say is a custom ROM or custom OS, stock Android is not a really good OS because it's not a stable OS.
If you just bring the stock Android and give it to the users, it's not a stable OS. You need to give them a platform and constant updates to make sure they are working and you've to make it stable. It's just a raw version and you have to make it stable.
What's the use of having stock Android with a very good chipset when you cannot bring the best out of that chipset? The chipset with a better OS can bring AI capabilities, camera capabilities, OS capabilities. You can make the day-to-day operations much better.
There are battery enhancements as well. There are lots of things that you can do with the AI capabilities of the chipset through the OS, so what's the use of having Snapdragon 855 chipset with stock Android? It's like I'm giving you a McLaren but not the road to drive it on. It's all about being able to utilize it."

Just few years back before the days of xiaomi and realme.. people had to pay exactly double the amount to even get this kind of mid ranger processors in this price range.. what a joke.. even now brands like htc,sony,samsung charges double for these chipsets

SD 8xx series makes a huge difference. We're talking about flagships here. We grew up with Apple and our mindset has always been buying flagships, no matter the cost.
We want to layeth the smack and clout to those people with a flagship.
That's a missed potential there but fine, Realme needs to grow as a reputable brand like releasing midrangers and low ends like HMD Nokia.

It's clear RealmeOS will be another cartoony esque pastel childish look like ColorOS
