        wow what a monster,
This is the killer for 2012 and the beast of the beasts, I wish nokia had made it with 1Gig Ram and with 64gig inbuilt Memory with external card slot then it would be alive for another 3 years b4 any mobile can surpass its beastly nature.

        Nokia is the Greatest

This Nokia has a 41mpx, 1/1.4 sensor size. To make the picture has the same effects as a full frame DSLR, they have to lower down the mpx. Which is 5-8mpx. Impressive?
Probably.. Not impress during low ligh

Whatever you say it's the best/would be the best cameraphone around. That's the whole point of Nokia 808. Not to compete with DSLRs. If its camera does not impress you, would you tell me an HTC, Samsung, Sony, LG, or Apple phone that did?

It's already 2012 man, why are you still stuck on those single-core devices? Yes you have a great camera on your phone but it would've been better to see those images on, at least a 200+ ppi display screen. And try to play HD games with a 1.3ghz core and keep on dreaming that it would run perfectly smooth. (HD games... oh shoot! i forgot, it's belle OS! damn...)

But some fanboy doesn't even know the barrier between a camera phone and DSLR.
It is depending on how you use it and how much you use it. I seldom use my camera phone nor my dslr.
This phone wins in Camera Phone category and it should stay there.
I preferred a slim profile phone that has a decent 8mpx camera with a couple of decent camera features just like low lighting. Because you need it when you are going to the Marina Bay Sands. All my pics are ruined. That include my camera phone and a normal compact camera. That's why I bought a DSLR.
To me, a phone are use for calls, internet surfing, GSMarena and etc.

It is still useless to have a thick and big megashooter if you seldom use it. To be honest.

My friend bought a Galaxy Y and the phone can't even run transition effects without lagging. For me that was OK since it's looks a really cheap phone, but then I looked for the specs and they say it has a 830Mhz CPU. WTF is everything that came do my mind. Since I have here in my hands now a Nokia C6-01 with nothing but a 680Mhz ARM11 running Symbian Belle and is MUCH smoother than that thing... Symbian Belle is not like Android that need a multi-core CPU desperately to run smooth (also, it will be Carla when they launch this phone, which is probably going to be even better).

The full sized samples, when simply re-sized to 8 Mpixel in MS Paint, are absolutely stunning.
Sharper and less noise than ANY compact camera out there.
The shadow detail is great, color gradation is good, it's a winner.

[deleted post]Hahaha, it's so funny that you want to compare a DSLR with a cameraPHONE. Hahahaha :D

""The 41 mpx compensate the sensor size but it's still ruining the quality because the 41mpx is cropped to 5 mpx.""

What?? Do you have ANY idea of what you said now? lol
Great resolution on small sensor doesn't compensate anything, it simply produces more noise and less detailed images on full size samples as you can really see from the samples. The cropping to 5Mp guaruantee BETTER quality for the full size image since all the details from the large image are reduced to a much more appropriate resolution.

                                    Probably..
I'm not hating it.. I like it but it doesn't impress me like Jeremy Clarkson say.. " Everyone want a big orange dog that farts blue flames but it lacks what Ferrari 458 italia gives". He is talking about the Lamborghini Aventador.

The camera is big but better off with a DSLR camera. Effect like depth of field without any shutter lag between shots. Or shoot Full HD with slow motion. Taking a very crisp photos. To me, Quality of DSLR is still the best. Second is the superzoom.
I have tried most of camera phone and all of them has lag. Including the fastest phone now(Sammy Galaxy S2/ Note).

At first glance I was like "wow wtf-ing Impressive camera!" but i was damned to see that a lot of specs were sacrificed. 184 ppi display, 512 RAM, 1.3 ghz SINGLE CORE cpu.. This doesn't even match my old original iPhone and my sister's Galaxy W, specs-wise. Now i'm like "oh well, just another nokia phone. Moving on..."
