Iv never used more than 64gb maybe u have. There are still many devices that are 64gb Base. But that is optional. People can buy whatever they like it's their money and who are you to judge. Why compare iphones with android devices anyway? It's not like iphone users can use these other devices on ios so it's either keep present iphone and upgrade to a newer iphone whenever they wish. How much tech do u need anyway and how is it far behind? And devices are even reviewed yet. What if camera turns out great? Apps run better and smoother on ios than their androids counterparts as one reason why there are alot of people choosing iphones. Even iphones 3 years old play high intensive graphical games with smooth game play. How is that far behind other phones? I work in a phoneshop iv seen newest android devices lag after a couple of months and their performance is nowhere near iphones. For example a 1 year old device ages far quicker on android. But, more importantly, your opinion doesn't matter one bit. People can choose whatever they want obviously as long as they can afford something then who are u to question? As an example say cars for example. Person buys a ford and u come along puzzled and confused and question why not a audi or a BMW? They would say who are u? None of your business :D

removing the camera hump would obviously be a feat of engineering because of the technology involved.reluctance to put a fast charger in the box due to probable battery life issues or not producing a wireless charging mat instead of relying on third parties to sell in apple stores.lack of ios themes due to probable consistency across all apple products from iphones to ipads.and removal of the notch would require sensors and speaker to be placed elsewhere which would become a major design overhaul.

Here in the US, there's a website I often visit and they're selling the brand new Galaxy S10e for 5XX ( it is less than 699 with tax ).

Think of it as fine wine - it only gets old fashioned, but not bad.

So " how do u determine common sense? " You should ask yourself about it and where is it. Not me. I'm simple pointing out the details in comparison in some area.
Sure apple doesn't have to follow Samsung and there's also plenty of other Android phone offer more for less.
But it's common sense that we are talking about here( which is brought up by you).
You're telling me that spend $700+ $69 tax( which it also much more higher in other region) for a phone with far behind tech even in camera and offer only 64GB of storage is good common sense?
Now, seriously. How do you determine common sense?
If a person simple hooked to the iOS ecosystem and that I could understand that they'd continue to purchase iPhone and use iPhone. If not, OS and hardware and money altogether really does need some common sense put into work here when purchasing a new phone ( especially a overly expensive one).
Cause rather it is iOS or Android, they're maturing year by year with each version ( and features are getting pretty much similar as well), and hardware wish they also pretty much in the same ground ( a .0 second faster means nothing, it is a phone, not rocket science device). As long as they're high end device ( they all run pretty similar, sure some of them still contain bugs. But basically no big deal or big difference like in term of daily usage).
If people doesn't understand/ realize this, they'd continue to be whatever Bran-sheep that they are.
So, like this that slogan outside of a (i)phone store in China " you got more money than (common) sense ".
