How good is a $300 android device with a flagship processor if the other components are low class? Especially with issues like ghost touch, touch lag and even screen freezing issues?
For now. I own a samsung galaxy note 8 256GB model which have cost me $650. I still have my old iphone 7 plus. And it didn't even give me a headache when it comes to software issues. Or even touch and display problems!

GrandMaster, 14 Sep 2019You just lost buddy! Say no more!LOL! For you to get an own more than one android device means whatever you get doesn't content you. And I'm laughing at you because you need more than one android device to satisfy your needs. You didn't even answer my question in the first place.

It can easily last you as long as 1100$ phone if you use it like one. But again who'd do that? you could get 3 phones lasting 2 years each and still have money left to go to coney island from Manhattan and party there

Great!! So the new iPhones have nothing new except the camera !

I get it, iOS is more optimized then Android and probably doesn't need more ram. But if you are paying 1.000+ bucks, you should expect to get high end hardware.

Kenzo, 13 Sep 2019Well said. In addition, there's NO 5G! It's unbelievable!... moreSeriously what "midrange phones" have 5G and beyond that 5G probably won't be widespread for half a decade, 4G isn't even anywhere near its top speed in most places currently so you are seriously jumping the gun.

4gb Ram on a well optimised in-house OS in 2019 is perfectly fine.

Remember that RAM has improved as well, it's not all about the gigabytes.

Some people need to do research before bashing :)

If you can repair your android smartphones. Does other user can? Depending on which country you live in. You think you can anybody can find a third party service center anywhere in the world if they accidentally done something on their smartphone?

It doesn't matter what apple adds to the ios as long as the user can use the latest and newest apps without any problem at all. Can your unit do that? Especially if it's a low class SoC?

I've customized many phones such as Z3+, MiA1, OP6, Note4, etc... And if something goes wrong, there are plenty of 3rd party service centers that will only cost a fraction of what Apple's charges. But I don't go to some service centers coz I am the service center! (Unless, if it's some serious hardware problem such as display, etc...) And if that's not enough, I can buy 3 Android phones that offer flagship performance at the price of one iPhone and I can last 6-9 years.

Or how about being able to run intense graphic quality games at high graphical settings with no problem? How about being able to use a Powercase that does protect your unit and as well as charge your unit continuously without the use of a cable? Does your G6 have that?

Luckily I don't have to pay that much my Xiaomi Mi 6 did cost about 330 Euros and was offering top specs for it's time, and personally I don't really mind flashing custom roms to get extended updates either.
