Phones are assembled in China with almost zero Chinese teknologi, but some parts in Linux kernel uses a open source studied from Chinese university's, internet and top technologies comes from all over the word combined, that's why it is important you choose open source

Though there's still the question as to why it's a "mode" and not default behavior. Thermals, long-term accelerated degradation of SoC... Would be great if a tech journal would do a research on the matter.

Snapdragon > Kirin > Exynos . This is from my pure experience. Samsung S10 Exynos version still got stuttering here & there, not to mention lower quality ISP than Snapdragon version. My country Samsung's has the Exynos version, so its no use talking or even thinking of buying it.
