I've been hearing info that you couldn't actually install Play store in this two, that they will give you warning and failed to start even you sideload the app. The reason is that they totally free from Google service whatsoever and most likely blocked on Google side.
You see for those who bought chinese phones and sideload Play store, Google services were actually installed from the beginning on those phones. It's just the services weren't active but they were there to act as a base/stub for Play store to run. But for these two Huawei's phones, there were no base at all for Play store to run. That's why Huawei said that they will send update immediately if the situation clears.
Really sad that such nice piece of phones hindered by just some stupid politics and baseless accusation about Huawei.
