It will focus on releasing high-end devices.

Make a premium phone with aluminum chassis and top spec camera. Resurrect the One!

I still don't see how HTC will be able to do something different this time they could not do before. The issue is simple, HTC is no better than any of the OEM's on Android (especially the Chinese ones) but somehow wants to charge a premium price. If HTC wants to survive, they need to take a page out of what HMD Global is doing with the Nokia brand.

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2019My wishlist for HTC in 2020 1) U20 - SD865 , 5G , 6 ... more3,800 mAH battery? What? That sucker should be AT LEAST 4,500 no matter how efficient Snapdragon's next chipset will be. I agree with the rest (although I'd like a return of the headphone jack).

      Here's hoping for HTC's comeback!

Love the Community, 07 Oct 2019Nice! Start by closely partnering with Google for the quick... moreI agree with you at some points.

          - Since they brought U11+, HTC has been awful with updates. They started to give android 9 just couple months ago when u11 got 8.0 by early october 2017. I think they can replace some services by more google apps. A cleaner android like OnePlus and Sony.

          - I have the impression that u11 takes better photos than u12. But they already work close to google, u11 has very similar performance compared to pixel 2. Better hardware like 20MP 1/1.8" would be very welcome, I think they should sign deal for exclusive sensor.

          - macro can be done by main camera easily. No need of a bad 2MP macro cam like Honor and Motorola.

          - current sensors do not suffer with light loss like they used to. Pixel size do not matter. All user has to do is to keep ISO low (lower than 450) and photos will be fine for a cellphone.

One of the premium brand on its era. Love HTC Diamond design. Even U11 & U12+ camera image algorithm are one of the clean-looking i've ever seen.

              Make a great comeback, HTC.

Love the Community, 07 Oct 2019Nice! Start by closely partnering with Google for the quick... moreAlso next year, sell the SD855 phone with Android One. Google only certifies Android One flagships from other companies for older flagship chipsets. Google let Nokia 9 Pureview for example, have Android One because it uses SD845 instead of SD855.

I hope they come back properly

They comfortably made the best android phones 2009-2015

I'm still using my HTC HD mini as my primary phone for calls. I like it. It's tiny by today's standarts but its 3.2" screen is the biggest one I can sincerely operate with one hand. Anything bigger than this is a big showel gadget for me, only managebale with both hands. I wish HTC gets back to business with some new truly innovative phone model someday.

Nice! Start by closely partnering with Google for the quickest possible security and OS updates, lessen the bloat of HTC Sense UI so it can update quicker (Asus did it right by doing the same thing), get Sony's latest flagship sensor and tweak it with HTC's well known algorithms, bring back UltraPixel because Macro or Low Light cameras are making a comeback, use Stainless Steel for those sturdy but still squeezable frames, bring back the headphone jack and it has to price competitively like $699 - $799.

                      #MakeTaiwanGreatAgain

At least the new CEO knows whats up. Here's to hoping HTC will make a surprising comeback and impress everyone with something unique. I still remember the days when HTC was the Android champion and Samsung was the poor man's smartphone.

I want to see that HTC back, with all it's glory and that exquisite premium look & feel that was exclusive to HTC.
