secret_, 17 Oct 2019K20 is on the list, so mi 9t are included too right?Yes, you can check on the http://en.miui.com at the bottom of the page.

PriteshThakker, 17 Oct 2019So at $120 device (that's official price where-ever it is o... more"So at $120 device (that's official price where-ever it is officially launched... you want proper camera features like " proper Manual controls (as good as found on their flagship handsets), great Night Mode, and excellent video stabilization?".... Really???"

        1. I clearly said in my original comment that I was only wishing for these things. Didn't you read my full statement? I bet you have understanding problems. I said that they could just give us an unlocked camera api and we'll do the proper tweaks. I doubt that it costed Xiaomi more than $10 to do that.
Even if they provide all those premium software features on their mid range phones, their flagships would still kill them in quality due to their superior hardware, so what are they afraid of for releasing essentially the same features from their high end phones to their lower end devices in areas where they are capable enough of doing?
Take for instance, the Huawei P30 Lite got the same exact Night Mode as the more expensive P30 and P30 Pro, but I doubt it could produce similar, if even as good, results as its more expensive siblings, because it's all down to the superior hardware. Why can't Xiaomi do something like this?

"Let it evaluate as overall device package, a decent SD4xx series SoC, a metal body, enough ROM and RAM, FP sensor"

        2. And a decent microphone, okay?? A DECENT F***ING MICROPHONE!!!

"As a workaround, it seems you can still use third party software to conceal mic / sound recording issues, why not compensate with that?"

        3. Because
        a. The most efficient ones are turtle slow to be considered usable
        b. The absolute solutions are WAYY too difficult to be performed by amateur smartphone users.
        c. A decent microphone quality is a basic necessity for basically every smartphone, and I believe it's the job of the manufacturer and not the users
        d. They're asking us to fix the problem that their lazy a***s didn't bother fixing.

"And if (one aspect) sound recording is poor, why portray full device and Brand bad? I mean I would bring a balanced reaction, not like yours"

        4. Because Xiaomi has gained its main reputation from their Redmi lineup; excellent all-around smartphones at a very reasonable price.
Well, they failed to deliver a decent microphone quality, and I wouldn't mind it IF they bothered fixing it. They didn't. Haven't. Probably won't, and never will, as well.
I put the disgrace on the whole brand because I never even got treated properly.
Look, the same problem on my dad's Mi A1 was fixed right after the Android 8 update, but not on my Redmi 5 Plus.
You'd expect me then, to not get mad at Xiaomi with that?
Favoritism. That's the damn thing I hate about it. And for that, I hate Xiaomi as well for NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
And surely Apple & Samsung flagship can provide you better hardware, because they charge you around 8 to 10 times more for that."

        5. Yeah. Sure. Galaxy A10, which cost just as much as this phone, can definitely record MUCH better sound than my phone. I don't even have to spend a heck lots of dollars just to explain how sh**ty my phone is in its current state.

"Well, also a better Xiaomi device at within $200 can give you loads of betterment, but you better go with what you respect more"

        6. As if everybody can do that, really. Don't worry, I'm already investing for a proper flagship that can give me true quality smartphone with NO horrible ads and great microphone quality. Then I'm gonna use this radioactive phone of mine for just data hotspot, as my country have 2 main network providers, and one could often give better speed than the other depending on location, and the phone I'm investing for doesn't support dual SIM.

Is that what a $150 phone is supposed to have?
My friend's Huawei mid range phone that costs even less than my phone has WAYYY BETTER sound recording compared to my device. Cool, right?
Then you're asking me to go and get a premium flagship phone just to get a "DECENT" microphone quality, and you're right. My next phone shall be an iPhone or Samsung.
Not gonna fall again for Chinese piece of trash devices with low price points :)))

Anonymous, 17 Oct 2019hmm.... Max2 is in the list but Max3 is not?Max 2 never got a single android version update. It launched with nougat MIUI 8 and its still with Nougat MIUI 10. Won't be updating my Max 2 to MIUI 11 because I'm 101% sure Xiaomi is going to kill it with ultra slow charging (planned obsolescence Xiaomi style). 0%-100% in 24 hours like what it did to my three other older Xiaomi phones.
