my Mi 6X aka Mi A2 already got MIUI11 beta tester for China ROM, they should have roll out Global ROM for it as well but not appear in any schedule...

Pocophone F1 owners, Mi Max 2 owners and other owners of 1 1/2+ - 2+ year old Xiaomi phones. DO NOT INSTALL THIS UPDATE! Your old phone will be ultra slow charging (0%-100% in 24 hours). That's Xiaomi's planned obsolescence strategy! I have three of my Xiaomi phones behave this way (ultra slow charging) shortly after their last few MIUI updates before they became UNsupported. BE WARNED! BE SERIOUSLY WARNED! DON'T UPDATE if you plan to hold on to your 2 year old or older Xiaomi phone for a few more years!

pocophone f1 gets so much love from xiaomi. i'll stick to mine as my daily driver even now that i have an asus rog phone 2, and even if they out a pocophone f2. the f1 personifies the japanese electronic music artist- "fantastic plastic machine."

Commendable. Seems like the oldest phone in this list is the Redmi 4? Considering it was one of the cheapest phones of its time and is scheduled to get an update is impressive. Also this list isn't comprehensive. The full list is available on the link provided in the story. While the Redmi 4 is on schedule, the Mi 5 isn't on it. Surprising considering it was the flagship from the Redmi 4 era? The Mi 6 is there, though. The list does have that 'release plan subject to change' fineprint.
As for some who rightly have reservations about MIUI 11 not updating to Android 10, from my experience, the MIUI skin is more user-friendly and has more features than the equivalent Android vanilla version. I only hope they also release the latest security patches alongwith the MIUI rollout. Xiaomi have been a bit inconsistent on that.
Overall, good on Xiaomi to support some rather old and dirt cheap devices, too.

Has Mi Mix been discarded? Why? None of the lists they publish match. With this policy, Xiaomi is no longer user-friendly. What a pity!
