It works fine on the ipad and doesn't affect the battery as it cleverly switches between 60-120 hz depending on what ur doing

Why to add million of features worth 1000 bucks to a phone if people wont use them.
They rather buy equal in benchmark score but a lot cheaper feature less phone than paying for something they will never use.

Just like the ipad pro which came with 120hz screen, it mainly improves swiping on the screen and gesture navigations. It gives a much more fluid experience.
Amy improvement is a good thing.

Like we have no phone which supports 4K display and on a 6 inch screen looks visible better than a 1024p.
On such a small screen its an useless obsollete gimmick which is costly but thats it.

Anonymous, 30 Oct 2019You're forgetting that devs will be more likely to develop ... moreI am not forgeting anything but developig 1-2 games a year which will supports 120 HZ refresh rate sounds bit off.
There are not enough gamers and those who gaming mostly use midrangers for an average price of 150-300.
Those gamers are mostly young people which relly on parental wallet.
So the total number of people which will play a 120 HZ game on a 120HZ screen for a 100% of people who have passion in gaming will be maybe a 0,001%.
For this case developers can give up and do something a lot better and more profitable.
Used by wast ammount of comunity not just by few.
Also i dont have to forget on a 6 inch screen a 120HZ display or 4K one screen have no use.
Not even the man with sight of an eagle would spot any differences between FHD+ in other words 1024p and 4k or 4096p.
Its same waste like if you mount a laser sight for a slinger. Or like diet water in shops because the basic one have too much calories in it.
