Diego, 05 Nov 2019At least Huawei will stop worrying about Google support, no... moreNothing is set in stone and I don't think they'll get Android back because the threat to national security is still there. Instead, what they should do is work on an in-house OS for their Chinese and regional buyers. But then again, software development isn't a forte of theirs or China's for that matter.

Hopefully Huawei can get more phones to become available in the US so that we can more options here. The smartphone market in the US is so limited compared to the rest of the world.

wantone, 04 Nov 2019not true, a lot of people are falling out of love with the ... moreNot me, at least not anymore. I like what Apple is doing so far with the iPhone 11 series, especially the cheaper iPhone 11. Yes, the screen resolution is a little bit low by today's standards, but it's still a good display and very well-calibrated. Also, the even cheaper iPhone SE 2 is right around the corner too. I can't wait to see what Apple has in store for next year's flagship iPhones.
As for Huawei, if they couldn't beat Samsung before when they had full Android support then what makes you think they'll suddenly beat them after they magically get it back?

Samsung will never allow that to happen, especially if they continue to be at the forefront of innovation. Did the Mate X even come out yet?

Adul Al Salami Kebab, 04 Nov 2019Samsung is still doing good, not seeing them go away anytim... moreApple would rather get out of the smartphone business altogether than adopt a buggy, vulnerable, fragmented, and inefficient OS like Android. And they won't if people continue to buy their devices. Personally speaking, I just went back to Apple and got one of the new iPhone 11's after nearly a decade of using Android smartphones and I'm loving it so far. It's way faster than any Android smartphone I've used in recent years.

Nrlastest, 04 Nov 2019So if Huawei is coming back with all things, we can say bye... moreNah. You guys have been saying that for the longest lol. At least people from all across the world buy Apple and Samsung smartphones, whereas most of China's cheap smartphones are sold in China, its neighboring countries like India, and some small European countries that are not worth mentioning.

Jobaz, 04 Nov 2019Just listen to yourself, so the US isn't getting data from ... moreLOL! No reason, really?! What about currency devaluation/manipulation, faux developing world status, patent stealing and IP theft, counterfeiting, anti-competitive practices, rampant piracy, corporate and government espionage, widespread censorship, massive human rights violations, mass public surveillance, oppression, mistreatment of minorities, and love of communism? And that's just off the top of my head lol.

Krisbenea, 04 Nov 2019So they wanna show us that world is need google so bad W... moreHow is it propaganda when it's a well-known fact lol. You people need to know what the word actually means before you go around using it. BTW, there are two major mobile OSs and two major desktop OSs. I'm not counting Linux and Chrome OS because their market share numbers are so low.

"These licenses would only cover widely available components that do not pose a threat for national security," I guess Google is out of the question. They're the main reason why the ban was put in place in the first place. If I were a Huawei fanboy then I wouldn't get my hopes up lol.
