Last year this punch samsung using for its own phones.
This year they started providing it to other oems al well.
So this many amoled with punch hole display from many brands coming this year.

People who complain about hole punch or otherwise think other methods are superior are using asthetics and tech illiterate excuses as a means to ignore the fact that today hole punch is superior. The flux of hole punch displays in phones will become prominent in 2020 for this reason.

My fear is that this might lay the groundwork for yet another price hike. The "lite" would have same base price as the regular models used to, and the normal and Pro will become more expensive. Smartphone manufacturing seems to be one of the few industries where the prices of a commodity product keep climbing, instead of dropping with time.

All of a sudden everyone wants to release a "Lite" version of their phone. Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, etc.
BTW, OP7 Pro had a flawless display. Since they're switching to a punch-hole one, the phone better come with IP certification. Nothing else would justify replacing the motorized camera with that.
Also, Wireless charging is a must this time. OnePlus has entered flagship price territory, so they better get rid of their compromises.

Not worried about notch or no notch.
Gimme.
1. Top of the line chipset with 5G (It'll last me 3 years)
2. Really good camera setup, with video capability.
3. SD expansion slot.
4. Wireless charging,
5. Good memory capacity.
6. Good sharp and clean screen.
7. Good size (all day) battery.

Lstar4real, 07 Dec 2019Someone has talk some sense into OnePlus brain ......Just a... moreIs One Plus.... forget the SD card and 3.5mm. For that better go to Xiaomi/Redmi, Samsung A series (Sadly they removed them from flagships) and Huawei or Honor. About all if you want to get good cameras too.
One Plus is all about to Never Settle in price being featureless phones. They are now alleged Premium so this one will be a expensive mid-ranger without nothing if you remove the cameras.
