I can use WiFi direct to transfer files between Android and PC (Windows OS) and other Android phones without any issues.
Bluetooth is considerably slower than WiFi direct.
No one uses it to transfer files unless they are transferring smaller files.

You can get one from MyMemory for £58 which I have in my tablet which I am using to write this, that has just under 600Gb of usable storage.
And no I didn't know that you could do that via an app. Thank you for enlightening me on that fact.
But that's the issue thought, you need an app to do it, whereas you don't have to with Android, just scan, pair and send, that's what it really should be ease and simplicity, Apple are missing the trick and it's a major hurdle for me and a definite no, no in my book.
Also the lack of memory expansion is the other. You're paying a very significant premium compared to Android for a device that's got substantially less memory than a growing number of Android devices. All I see is that you are paying over the odds for a brand name, one which is now behind the Android market leaders for camera and screen quality too.

Most ... moreSomeone buys 512GB microSD card. And those are people that watch on the go while not connected to the net.
Most people offload files. But there are some people that are too lazy to do this.
WiFi Direct on ios only works on the same OS. Have some problems when it's not the same OS. Which is why bluetooth is the best choice to transfer files.

Most people just offload files on a hdd or pendrive via OTG.
Why use Bluetooth for file transfer when WiFi direct is available?

256Gb and 512Gb should be more than enough for most people today.

If I were Samsung, I would use the latest Snapdragon for the top tier flagships, and a lower-priced Exynos to compete against midrange Snapdragons and Mediatek. They need not necessarily be used by Samsung phones. Midrange Nokia and Sony phones, for example use the Snapdragon 6xx. Target them as customers.

The price for a 512GB microSD card (Sandisk) cost $162 to get one. And the availability is very very limited. So pretty much the only storage option that can be bought for a cheap price and availability is 128GB and 256GB microSD card. And just so you know. I've spend $400 for replacing my SD card because it always failed.
Did you know that you can transfer files from iphone to android and vice versa by using the share it app? And it uses bluetooth signal to transfer?

Why are they sucks? Well, CPU making isn't as easy as making plastic bag or otherwise we'll be seeing a lot more brands popping up. This is simply the case of crap quality product that can't compete with its competitor and Samsung says enough is enough, we ain't a charity organisation, we'll put that money to better uses.

Samath N8 808 owner, 12 Dec 2019You know, I have a suspicion that the US might actually be ... moreExynos 990 ~ SD865 yes but the Snapdragon has a lot of features that puts it ahead and has become industry's favorite SoC that supported by all devs,OEMs...everyone...that's an advantage that E990 doesn't have...Qualcomm a big company used 10 000 employees to develop SD865...so it's more mature and advanced than E990 that had their dev team of >500 employees disbanded. Samsung even saw that SD865 is better that's why they're making all changes like getting AMD GPUs etc.

You know, I have a suspicion that the US might actually be engaged in chip level spying, something they accuse Huawei of... And Qualcomm might actually be a partner in it.
I'm saying so because the old Nokia was killed, despite doing so well. The last symbian flagship was also a success without much advertisements.
Similarly, both AMD and Intel agreed to restrict support for Windows 7 for newer chipsets, for no valid reason. All for support of Windows 10 spyware.
Today, Exynos is also not bad, the Galaxy Note 10 one, not by any means.
Secondly, when Samsung themselves said that they've tested 5nm sized production and there's no problem, then how can there be a problem at this level?
I might be sounding like a Conspiracy theorist, but I find this strange. Why will Samsung give up like this? It just doesn't add up. Even if their chip is 96% of SD865, what's so bad?

The cost of the memory card? £60, so with the cost of the phone & card being £860. So compare that to an iPhone max (£1500) which is the nearest to my existing phone and its no contest.
So what if you aren't anywhere near a computer or phone network? I can transfer my documents, photos or even mp3, mp4 or ringtones to another Android phone with ease using BT. I can't do that to an iPhone because they refuse to pair.

2. If you have a big internal storage space. What's the need for expansion memory for? Porn videos?
3. Why would you use a wireless connection to transfer files if you can transfer files between iphones to android by using a computer?
4. Connector isn't much of a problem. Especially if you can buy a hybrid cable.

No proper utilization of the A13 chipset by providing below par hardware.
-Less RAM contributing to app reloads and lackluster multi-tasking.
-No proper use of camera to give super slow motion.
-No proper use of screen real estate by not providing notch free display and split screen multitasking.
-No higher refresh rate display to output high frame rate games and ultra smooth UI.
And many more shortcomings that render the Apple SOC not utilize its full potential.

I bought the Hong Kong Galaxy s10+ after so many exynos Samsung’s, the s8, note 8 and note 9 that they all lagged until I bought the snapdragon Samsung, plus the camera was much better on the snapdragon than the exynos s10. I’d never buy a Samsung with an exynos cpu after seeing the difference. Oh yeah plus the better battery life on the snapdragon samsung

Adri, 11 Dec 2019Treating Europe like second hand market? Switch to another brand.Not just Europe - rest of the world, except the USA and China. Exynos chips are used to save Samsung money. They should wake-up and use only Snapdragon for their S and Note series across the world.
Exynos chips on their flagships is what keeps me away from being a Samsung customer.
