S Yu, 16 Dec 2019"users still couldn’t pick a default search engine"?? Is t... moreThat's the entire point isn't it. That it is actually become an illegal practise, given their size.

I do not see the problem here but only Turkey's greed. Google did try to cater to the Turkish's regime wishes but it refused Google's changes and still fined Google with additional penalties.

That is called extortion and Google is right to fight such unethical practices.

Turkey is not a strong market for Google, so, Google can easily write off Turkey as a none factor lost, but it would be dreadful for the Turkish people, they will most likely suffer from their regime's poor decision on GMS and we leave them with only one choice, iOS.

for all the people saying that google is a spying company, im a huawei user, and yea im waiting for harmony OS, but IF it came out and IF it became successful and IF it beats android and those are BIG IF's dont fool yourself for a second and think it will be different, intelligence and politics will force the new software to be a spying tool too, it will be the same if not even worse since it comes under chinese rules, and the thing is, its not like im a terrorist that im worried about they spying, let them do what they want

I read this statement by Huawei for P40 series, hence true.

We need to support the ecosystem, as Samsung will never challenge Google's might again after failure with Tizen, now relegated to just smartwatches, and Huawei is next biggest OEM to Samsung.

Google is evil, and people will slowly realise it.
